72 cb500four was my first street bike. Put a mac header and can on it, re-jetted and pod filters. Thing ran like hell.

Not exactly a basket case, I have pretty much a whole bike. Low sided it into a ditch last fall at about 45 mph. Exploded the left fairing and windshield, cracked the radiator and bent the headers. I have a new windshield and a fairing that just needs painted. There's a dent in the tank from the left bar. Kickstand and shifter were mangled but replaced. Honestly with a couple hundred bucks and a few hours its on the road again. Motor starts right up but is leaking oil at the drain plug, probably knocked loose. I simply dont have the need for another fast bike right now, the bandit is enough for me and I need to shift my focus to finishing my superhonda motor build, which has been dragging along for years. Would make a great bike for street, track or even stunt. Ill even throw in a set of 6 pot calipers and 5/8 master cyl. I have contacts on tlplanet that have the parts needed to make it a whole bike again. Ill post pics if there's any interest. Comes with a set of brand spankin new conti motions (not mounted). There's maybe 20k on the clock, would have to go look. I already had the paint matched and I guess ill throw in a quart of it, but its not mixed. Thinking around $1750. Or make me an offer, worse I can say is 'get fucked'.

When I was little, maybe 2 or 3 my dad would start up his old Honda 750 and if the noise didn't scare me, he'd put me on the tank with my hands on the bars and feet on the valve covers. When my sister and I were in 3rd and 2nd grade respectively, he would pick us up for lunch on Fridays and put us both on the bike, one up front, one in back, both with little helmets on. As I got older and bigger I moved to the pilion and we would go on longer and longer rides, sometimes all day. He would hit some pretty technical shit sometimes too. They are some of the fondest memories I have from my childhood. Nowadays, you put a kid on the tank of your bike and putt around the block, someone calls the cops and they arrest you and take your fuckin kid away....

I've rode a vrod before, my dad has one. Probably the most capable bike hd has produced, mostly because they didn't design most of it. Yeah, the TL will punish you.

The shinkos are damn near brand new. I have a set of conti motions I bought for the TL if I ever resurrect it, maybe ill peel those on at some point but so far the ravens seem ok. As far as the rain goes, well I guess we will see what it looks like tomorrow. Could rain all day, could be a weatherman covering his ass.

I'm thinking of going to the millersburg/Berlin/bunker hill area to hit heini's cheese chalet and get some fat man food. They have THE best summer sausage there, it is stuffed with cheddar, jalapenos and I'm pretty sure there's angel tears in there. Its a nice senic ride through Amish country and there are some decent twists on the way. I'd be heading out from my place in massillon around noonish, time is pretty negotiable, so is route. Not looking for a super technical ride, still finding my limits on el Bandito and don't have 100% confidence in the chinko tires that are on it. Haven't been able to make any group rides this year because they start so damn early and haven't really rode with anyone else so far this season. Post up in here or pm if you're interested. There's a sports bar in millersburg that has kick ass burgers too.
