I just like the unicam design. A single cam lobe operates both intake and exhaust. One by a rocker arm, the other with a bucket over shim. This allowed them to make the heads smaller.

i dont recall a single invitation to ride with you last season. i do plan on riding more this year, barely put 2k miles on last season. i also plan on getting down to 1 or 2 bikes...and getting a more capable sport tourer.

Well shes a fucktard for using water based lube on metal. And Kentucky jelly sucks, I prefer astroglide.

Never owned a new anything. I have however rebuilt the top end of one of my bikes. Before the first real ride it spent a lot of time idling and revving, not high revving, but maybe 6k rpm. First few real rides I got up into the power band, not too deep into it and not for too long, but I put some good pressure on the rings. Did a lot of in town riding, lots of shifting, not much cruising. Did that for a few hundred miles. After that, I'd take it out and flog the monkey-dog shit out of it, pretty much every ride. Just abuse the fuck out of it, 10k redline? That was stock. Hold it open till it stops pulling hard. Damn motor runs like a Swiss clock now. Sure, I used overbore pistons coated in nicasil, and had the bores professionally honed before my build, but most modern engines have those coatings, right?

I went on a few camping trips, you guys left it at my house. When someone leaves beer in your fridge you don't wait for them to come back and drink it. Same rules apply.

Looks like we are shaping up to have a decent turnout this year.

Brewing as I type this in my basement. Built this all electric recirculating system a few months ago. It makes very good beer despite my very sloppy panel wiring.

Finished up the new kegerator tonight. Hopefully by the time this event happens the basement will be partially finished. Plans are to put a bar area and bathroom down there with my brewing equipment.
