Yeah you really don't want to sell it, that is very obvious. Sounds like you would likely be very remorseful at this point were you to sell it, having regret is a real bitch. Glad you are keeping it, now you just need to ride the damn thing.

Have a nice 2006 SV650 I would be willing to trade, although I believe we have already talked? The SV is a great first bike IMHO, I am sure many here would likely agree with me on that. Either way good luck on finding a good first bike for your son.
