I lube my rails with Dupont multi-lube dabbed on a Qtip, I use the liquid not the aerosol. This shit is just wonderful, and doesnt attract burnt powder and fouling either.

You just cant decide what the Hell you want buddy, pay the price or buy it twice. Don't just go for the Glock because you get a great deal on it, there are as good and better options out there. I love my M&P and I love my XD......but I have been waiting for this model to come out. Kudos to Springfield for listening to their loyal customers.

The issues with them are well documented on the Concour 14 forums and the FJR forums, they cup and feather badly with horrible mileage. I am sure they work fine with a lighter bike, but I am also going with my experiences with them as well. The absolute best high mileage and great handling all weather tires on the market currently are as follows: Pilot road 2 and 3, Dunlop Roadsmarts, Pirelli Angels ST. I did however love the Bridgestone Battlewings on my Vstrom, they were excellent.

I owned a Glock, like the XD's much better. My son now has a G19 "my Glock", he shoots the XD better but won't admit how much he really likes it. The new XDM models would be hard to be surpassed by anything, for any amount of money. The XD's were awesome, the new M models are perfection. Just a matter of time before a S&W and Glock are being replaced by an XDM. For those that didnt know, the .40 and 9mm were both out for the XDM platform, the new 45 compact is brand new and much anticipated. Folks..... meet the new badass fighter in the octagon.:devil: By the way.....Hickock45 whom is a very well respected gun nut on youtube and also one of my favorites "and a GLOCK whore", has nothing but good things to say about the XDM series. Says that he just can't quit shooting them.

Springfield has listened to the collective, and from the many reviews it is getting allot of attention. Glock beater? I think so, but of course I am biased.

Sure glad I live in a newer house with no history, of course I can only hope it wasnt built on an Indian burial ground! I did find a cool arrowhead while digging post holes, so far nothing weird has happened in the last 12 years. I for sure believe in restless spirits, why wouldn't they exist?
