Had a Gen III Glock 19, actually gave it to my son......so I am very familiar with them. The design is fabulous other than the grip and the unsupported chamber, well not fond of the plastic guide-rod either "that can be easily fixed". Just way too much hype with Glocks, and they are practically forced upon law enforcement and other divisions that keep us safe. There are as good and much better offerings out there for assault pistols, GLOCK has become a name synonymous with guns period. Of course the bad guys have given the reputation and popularity of the brand more than anything else, that is kinda hard to argue against IMHO. They are good guns, but far from the perfection they spew. I shoot my XD and M&P allot better, and happen to like their overall designs much more.

I have never felt a worse feeling gun in my hand "even the 4th gen", don't give a rats ass how natural it shoots or points........the grip sucks!!!!!!

Yeah you can always throw that TCP at a criminal "when it fails" if ya have to. And I assure you that my 380 would inflict some nasty damage, although the 38 would be a "bit" better. Wheel guns just are too thick for a true pocket gun, but in a small IWB or ankle holster would be ideal.

For a pure drop in and carry gun, there is nothing better IMHO than a Ruger LCP. My sisters are both gonna get their CHL, and are very seriously looking at the LCP for their primary carry. When I am on my motorcycles, the LCP is always in my pocket...........

I understand, I still miss my 1000 Vstrom more than I don't.

The 17HMR or 220 Swift would be my choice.

I am pretty much sold on the Shoei Quest for my next lid. I have had HJC's "good helmets" and currently have a cheap Scorpion EX400 "not bad for cheap" but Shoei and Arai are hard to compete with IMHO. Now as far as protection goes........PEOPLE NEED TO STOP BELIEVING THAT THE MORE YOU PAY THE SAFER IT IS, truth is the more you pay the more comfy and quiet it usually is.

Because Glock gives them away, and Vances practically gives them away to law enforcement and fireman. That is just fine, more than happy with my XD and M&P.......XDM 45 compact is next. Good deal that cops and thugs can battle it out with their Glocks!

Not really pro-gun or anti-gun.......yeah makes sense to me.

Glock.......most popular ghetto and thug gun choice by a landslide. Also agree with the 1911 being extremely overrated and overpriced, but yet I may get one eventually for target shooting.
