We have a 2008 Kawasaki Versys for sale at the store. It's the same engine as the Ninja 650R but geared to have a more torque on the lower end so it's quick in very tight situations. The 650 engine also holds 80MPH very well with minimal vibration and still gives you lots of extra power for passing. In comparison, the Ninja 500 will do freeways just fine, but you'll feel winded out after 25 miles buzzing at 75MPH. Both bikes are available to look at here if you want to do an actual side-by-side comparison. We also have the Suzuki GS500 as another example.
