In response to the customer that submitted a bid on eBay for a BMW motorcycle. His bid did not meet the reserve. Another bidder submitted a higher bid and it met the reserve. That bidder then secured the purchase of the bike by paying the $500 via PayPal immediately. The remainder was paid by the winning bidder via wire transfer. The above statement says I sold the bike at a higher price. The eBay reserve was $10000. I calculated the other total with the bike priced at $9999 so I did sell it for $1 more on eBay. We never processed this customer's credit card because the other bidder meet the reserve and secured the purchase with PayPal. - Steve

Every bike that is sold through our shop goes through an inspection. Safety issues are taken care of right away, with no questions asked. Other non-safety issues are talked about between myself and the sales department to see if it is something that we would like to repair/fix. Air filters ARE NOT checked in our inspections. Some bikes are very easy to check, and other bikes take much longer to check. As it has been said, we would be losing money if we were to spend 1-2 hours (depending on the bike) to check every single air filter on every single bike we have. I DO check my techs' work from time to time, and I DO NOT let it go if they say they checked something/did something that they did not do, and that is on every bike we service, not just our sales bikes. I take great pride in having a service department that does great work, and I will continue to run my shop in this manner. As far as your air filter goes. I would have had NO ISSUE selling you a K&N filter at cost, all you had to do was call the store. I want the customers that come into this shop to have a great experience, and you don't have to spend money in here to get that kind of treatment either. Feel free to call and talk to me, Casey, when you get free time and we can talk this through. I will still try to do something, even after reading this thread.

Some Honda dealers can do it IF they have the machine. A Honda dealer would need the little plate that came with the keys when the bike was new, I believe. Most places will not do it with the VIN number because of the risk of cutting a key for someone other than the owner and then the bike gets stolen. They may do it if you provide proof of owning the bike. Carl Zipf on W 5th Ave down town Columbus is who we use, but the ignition needs to be out of the bike. A mobile locksmith is going to charge a lot to do it

Job Description The finance salesperson is primarily responsible for processing vehicle sales transactions, selling back-end financial products, the procurement of customer financing, receipt of payments and funding, execution of vehicle title, paperwork and legal documents related to vehicle sale. The daily duties will include the selling and presentation of company back end products (financing, service-contracts, maintenance agreements, etc.) to customers, obtaining and managing financing of vehicles, processing of vehicle purchase documents and title work, administration and maintenance of vendor relationship for all back-end products. The finance salesperson is also responsible for keeping track of data related to KPIs and reporting on weekly, monthly and annually. The Finance sales position is responsible for the administration, maintenance and development of vendor relationship for all back-end products. He/she is responsible for securing of funds related to vehicle sales transactions. Future development of this department will include completing instructional manuals, training guides, and working sales presentation. In addition this position can entail working with the sales manager in desk and negotiating deals.

You need to put a resistor inline with the front signals, on both sides. Since they are now LEDs it wants to pull a different load than the stock ones. Sometimes the signals will blink fast and sometimes not at all if the resistor is not there. I have noticed this issue on the 600RRs a lot, indicators on dash stays on and signals wont blink. We have even had to install an integrated tail light or LED rear signals to even out the load. The resistor needed is one that comes with an integrated rear tail light
