I have been with State Farm since I started riding. They were the only insurance group not trying to break me when I was 21 and started riding. Last quote I got was a 2010 CBR1000RR (new in 2010) and it was only $50/month with tickets and a near total on a car on the record. Pretty solid and has always been good on claims.

If you're into motorsports to get rich, you might want to re-evaluate the reality of your chosen profession. If you're good, there is plenty of money to be made. "Getting rich off of it" might be overshooting a little. Be beyond average and make beyond average money. Being around dealerships for 9 years, I've seen techs make great money and I've seen them make crap money. Same with sales people.

Dyno will be free most likely. No tuning that day to be able to get the most people on the dyno as possible. Aside from that there will be some give aways hourly and special pricing on motorcycles for that day purchase only.

I didn't see where we were asking anyone to quit their current job. Plenty of people go in and out of the industry. Having 5 years of experience doesn't imply they work for one now, but know their way around. That being said, while you may not know of anyone that is looking to leave, not many advertise the fact they want to leave their job before knowing their next step. Still looking people!!

"High" pricing is always somewhat of an objective statement. I think a better statement might be that it was just more than what YOU felt a particular bike was worth. Endless variables when looking at a used bike versus buying new. Every situation is unique to it's own and I welcome comparative pricing on anything we sale. Just need to know what it takes to earn your business. It's not always going to work out, just how it goes.

I know there are about 500 events when Spring gets rolling. Help me decide on a good date for a Spring Open House event at Independent Motorsports. Will probably include a dyno day with it. Thinking sometime in the middle May to make sure it is warm. Thoughts?

Independent Motorsports is starting to dabble in the leasing of quality used Haley Davidson motorcycles. What would be your thoughts or concerns on something like this?
