  2. Thanks Sam! Ill let u know if i do need something. The points cover was $50 shipped, not too bad. Find them here: http://fb-stuff.com Just a guy in New England making stuff. The fb is for "Franken-Bike" The tail/seat is the "bugeye" from Dime city;
  3. Welcome aboard my friend!
  4. Going with Dyna coils/points & Accel wires. Carbs already had larger than stock main jets, so they just got a good cleaning. To increase air flow i went with some large k&n's. Had to raise the 2 in the center to insure no contact with the throttle cable.
  5. Polished/painted side case & going with a "Frankenstein" points cover. Really cool stuff, http://www.fb-stuff.com
  6. Rear shocks & forks gold. Just a small pop of color. Also re-built calipers & installed a master cylinder from a busa
  7. New speedo & tach faces. Wouldnt be a real cafe without TON right?

  11. Hey remember back in the day when people used to talk & post about motorcycles on this site? Dont get me wrong, gun control debates are fun, just moving in a different direction for a moment. "Obama gona tak er guns" Here we go; I have wanted to do one for a while. Partnered up with a buddy and in October we picked up a 77 Honda CB750F Supersport. Decent condition & the price was right. Low budget build, goal is to stay below $2500 total spent. So far on track. Shortly after we got it; More updates coming soon!
  12. Not surprised, the v10 tdi is a monster. I used to sell v-dubs & it is the real deal. Dakar Rally winner just about every year
  13. Spend the 1500 & fix the damage, then you can ask for closer to retail. But i would agree, very nice, (but wrecked) bike
  14. Looking forward to it, weather permitting.
  15. Ryan, just saw the thread. I work this weekend, but if you move it to another day due to family visiting let me know. Also, i think $5-$10 per head is fair for you sharing your time/knowledge.
  16. Take that man's licence! He almost ruined those steaks
  17. Tom, for sure the Scrambler is 1 amazing machine!! If i had the $$ ya know... But got this 1 for 5k & they threw in some knee pads. Hard to say no. I like that this model has carbs as opposed to fi, easier to work on. Good luck with your Scrambler Quest!
  18. Thanks everyone, just wish it was a little warmer today. I would love to put a couple hundred miles on her
  19. Motorcycle ADD @ its worst. Couldnt say no to this 07 Bonnie w/ 1900 miles. Black & beautiful. This will be my ride for at least 3 years so i dont get divorced. Here she is:
  20. Thanks for the tips! I am going to tackle it on Saturday when i am off. If i have no luck, there is 1 more trick: First, I live close to Shop Dog, (Hoblick) and have been meaning to try this out. Step 1. Take broken part to Shop Dog Step 2. Attach 6 Pack of Woodchuck Cider Step 3. Pick up the part, repaired Magic!!!
  21. Seized front caliper, 77 CB750 F. Got the rebuild kit on the way. Anyone know any tricks to dislodge the piston without f*cking anything up? Its stuck pretty good. Thanks in advance!
  22. So far: Im thinking brunch style, early afternoon. Traditional cheesy eggs, bacon wrapped country fried steak w/ sausage gravy, & chicken n' waffles. I wrote a fantastic recipe for a crispy sweet & spicy batter. If that doesnt work out I will go with Jen's sugestion of Everclear & Meth
