I am planning on doing a track day at Summit Main on May 8th then running WERA on the 9th and 10th if anyone else wants to tag along.

Unless there is like a 50% change of rain then im out.

A wise and extremely drunk control rider once told me you will never tuck the front as long as your on the gas. When in doubt throttle out. 

Or maybe il do one day at PIRC then one day at Mid Ohio in may... idk.

Really hesitant to "spend" days on the North track, when you get 90% of the North track at PIRC full.

Im using the days we have towards the full track and am just going to pay for the two days here. Its only $165 per day if you have an elite membership. 

I am considering going for both days, will be there for atleast one.

Anyone else planning on going?

Looking like I am officially out for the NC Bike weekend as we take possession of a new house on the 17th of May. 

I will be at PIRC the next weekend. 

I'm sure Il be there both days. I like me some PIRC.

I think I am doing PIRC in late May and will just be up in the air for NCBike. 

This is turning out to be a pretty good start to the year. 

We are taking possession of a new house two days earlier so I'm not sure about ncbike.

And I might have to be at pirc for the weekend they are at road atlanta so that takes that option away. Need to work some things out before committing to anything.

I had so much fun this passed weekend it should have been illegal. The tracks were just outright awesome and I had a blast riding with Dan and Ryan. However once again (and to be expected) my plan to get Ryan and Dan drunk and gain a competitive edge on Sunday backfired. After a fifth of Capt and two bottles of moonshine I was pretty much worthless the entire morning session on Sunday. I did manage to get my shit together for the bump from I to A Sunday afternoon which I really needed after my less than encouraging conversation with the CR from Ryan and I first attempt for the bump on Saturday. Basically he managed to get in my head.....bad and I began to question body position lines etc. From what I understand from Dan and Ryan I was pretty entertaining Saturday evening. Dan and Ryan road their asses off at RA. VIR was a difficult track to learn but I ended up getting it down towards the end of the day. I had a similar "o shit" moment in T7 and I called it a day after that. Needless to say I am done drinking for the rest of the season as is the CR I rode down with that didn't fair as well as I did on Sunday

You were moving pretty well at the end of the day at VIR, Was a great start to the season and im looking forward to the next weekend. 

I'm not trimming the end off this one because it is too funny.

In my defense I just didnt want to scratch the new paint job on the first weekend out.

Its ON now.  

I had a missed shift going into third right there, not sure if they had the same issue or what. 

Great save at VIR Ryan. 

RA was a blast, so fast and mucho wheelies. Borello worked with me for two sessions and got me into the 1:43s on a shot rear tire, I think I could have gotten into the 1:40 range with a new tire since drive is so important there. Was crazy going wide open in 6th gear and getting passed by liter bikes like you are standing still.

I didnt run a timer at VIR because I just wanted to go have fun. But looked like 1:39-1:40 were the times there. 

My favorite lap of the weekend. Wasent the fastest by far but got to stuff a new friend in turn one and that's really all that matters.

Wow.... what a weekend. Got in at 3 AM... need to go through some videos.

I had the bike outside the other day and was backing it into the garage. I tripped and fell over but the trailer broke my fall and I kept the bike up. If those are the worst things that happen this week I think we're gonna be alright.
