I do find it odd at how hard it is to find used parts for a CBR. I could go walk around the block and find 8 gsxr engines laying on the side of the road, but for some reason the CBR stuff is really hard to come by.

Have you looked on 600rr.net to look for a used motor?

While perhaps a bit more sporty than an FJR I tracked my VFR and did pretty well at PIRC.

Haha thanks Jerry. After going over things with you and talking to ryan I think we got it figured out Was a pretty dumb thing to forget the springs when trying to change fork springs.

I plan on running my q3s which have a track day and a half on the first day. I will be off pace for the same reasons as Ryan, but figure they will be wore out after saturday. I will put the new gpa rear on for sunday and hope that makes it through monday.

Dumb question here, but whats the difference between a 209 and 211? I bout a set of the 8477 compound 211 and got a used set of chicken hawk pole position warmers and will be my first time on a gpa.

Yes... I should have mine 100% together next week and am hoping to take a test ride around the block.

I have lost interest in drag racing so dont get out much in it but have some sort of attachment to it so keep it around I guess.

If I sold the GTO sure, I would just go pick up a s1000rr track bike and keep the cbr as a spare. Pick up something for the street as well.

My wife is coming along and wanted to take pictures "her camera setup costs more than 2 of my bikes" so her and I will be in a hotel but everyone else is more than welcome to sleep in the trailer to block the light.

It sounds like there are alot of guys willing to drive down and haul bikes, can probably get some together that way. I am towing 4 bikes already but if needed I can throw one or two in the bed of the truck. Thanks for the write up turnone. My father in law plows with a rancher. He takes care of about 6 or 7 driveways with it, he also has a winch setup to raise and lower the plow.

I will try to see if I can go on the 18th as well, not sure il be able to stay for the races though, will have to see whats going on.

Maybe we can go to a bike night and have a slow race.

A little over a month left, anyone who saw my cbr last year wont recognize it now. Mods I did over the winter "so far" are... armour bodies plastics "painted by DC paintworx", 15/45 sprocket setup with a 520 EK chain, Woodcraft clip ons, Vortex rear sets, CRG RC2 levers, woodcraft shorty frame sliders and new sub frame "whoops". Still need to put in the front springs I got too, buy a new set of leathers and atleast a spare rear tire to take. Between that and my buddies CBR we should have a decent amount of spare parts to take down south.
