Im sure you could interrupt it with a toggle switch somehow to switch between street/track. Pretty cool idea.

I need me a street bike for the summer, as much as I want a s1k or diavel I know il end up with another half liter beater.

I like the idea of the Diavel, but not the actual bike. I think for that kind of money I'd buy a 2nd gen Multistrada or even a BMW GS. $20k and scraping hard parts doesn't work for me.

To be fair, I've not ridden one. It may be complete cozy, ass-hauling bliss.

You can pick a used one up for 12k or so if I remember correctly. I havent looked at prices in awhile though.

Surprised With all the Diavel comments. I'm more surprised that I don't think anyone here has one that I can remember at least.

They are pretty comfy to sit on, fast in a straight line and I think they probably handle well enough for the street but I dont think your going to keep up with tpoppa on one. But I heard that the rear tires are expensive and they go through them quickly.

Plus you can put a back rest on and luggage and go for a trip, though I guess the rear seat does lack in comfort.

Either an s1000rr or a ducati diavel for the street.

I know the ducati would probably handle well enough for the street, but id like to ride something like the s1000rr while I can.

My pos is almost together after a long winter. Just need some help from jerry to change my fork springs since iv never done it before. Plastics are on their way from the painter.

Actually the addition to beaver looks like it is going to add alot of speed. I will see if I can find some pictures they had posted awhile ago showing that they had cleared the land for where the track should go.

Some of the best times I have ever had was at the track. Watching the races is what inspired me to get on the track. Every time I see a race I feel the urge to do another track day. I am grateful we still have mid Ohio. Honestly, I fear what this will do not just to the sport but to the motorcycle industry. My inspiration is from watching the races in person and on TV. I really hope this is not the death of AMA Superbike.

I now have a new goal, endurance racing .

I always loved seeing AMA on CBS sports this year. Even if they were reruns I always watched them, they even had a marathon of all the races on a couple weeks ago.

Not that it had to be AMA, I will watch any of it. I remember the British superbikes being on before as well.

A buddy of mine has one and also has a nest to track furnace usage. 90% of the days this winter he uses 0 heat from his furnace. Was a large initial investment but looks like it will pay off in the long run. So far yesterday was the most usage he has seen which was 3 hours.

I had shorts and flip flops on when I took the garbage out last night. Thought to myself it wasent that bad in the garage so I opened the door. Figured I was already cold so would push the garbage out to the end of the road.

I have no issue riding in novice the first session. Get to learn the track and we are going to be there for three days so we will have lots of time to pick up the pace.

I only have a track day and a half on my current set of q3s. I know you guys are at a quicker pace than I am so il risk my front making it.

My truck will only put stability control on if you are going over like 30mph and reach a certain steering angle. If you are just doing donuts with the tc off it doest get in the way.

I plan on hanging out with you guys this duh next year. Maybe the bug will bite me who knows. Wife says I need another hobby when I retire. Need to find a TZ 250. The smell of Bel Ray makes my wiener tingle.

You know my bike is ways open to you to take on the track whenever you want buddy.

If the groupon isnt available when I can buy it then il just pay full price when others decide to go. No biggie, to much stuff to buy for the bike.
