Blitz

Planning to go from NEO to SEO on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on when others can ride.

I can meet anywhere from Millersburg to Westerville to Newark....destination McConnelsville or Marietta. Planning to meet around 10am and be back around 4 or 5. Who wants to ride?

Sorry to hear that John. I drove through there yesterday and couldn't go down 3 due to the flooding. Heck, it was still pretty high today. Hope you get it all cleaned up and any loss is minimal.

If anyone still wants to ride, I'm willing to meet up and head down to Marietta. Lots of great roads down there.

Yep, good ride. Was nice to get out in the Co Shockton area. And Julie, you did well. Surprised me a little actually. You're welcome any time I'm riding. And Tim, was nice to get out and ride with you this year finally. You'll have to go back to a street bike so we can really put some miles in.

3 or 4, looks like. And anyone else that wants to join. Should be a good time. Lots of good roads out that way. And I'm looking forward to hitting 520 & 514. Two of my favorites!

If you leave Iron Pony, you should be able to get to Centerburg by noon-ish.  Let's meet at this address. It's to a hot rod shop, but there's a Sunoco literally right next to it. For whatever reason I couldn't find the address to the gas station.

From there we'll head out 586 and hit the best roads in Coshocton.

Hutch, if you want to meet at 541 and 79 at 12:45, we'll be there.

I was going to meet him in Centerburg and then ride to 586, 541 across 79....

I can meet you tomorrow, whether I ride with him or not. If I'm with him, we can meet at 79/541. If not, I'll just meet you at Hickman and 79.

I can meet you Calinazaret, and show you through the Coshocton area.

Iron Pony is the opposite way for me. I live between Coshocton and Iron Pony. You should take route 3 North from Westerville and meet me in Centerburg, then we'll head east to hit 541 and the rest of the roads.

Great ride guys! I love those roads. Definitely my new favorite place to ride in Ohio. Weather couldn't have been any better. As most days of the year go, few compare to days like today. That's what I was dreaming of in the middle of polar vortex number three!

I had a traffic citation issue. Might be a couple minutes late, but nothing too crazy. See you in a bit.

Good meeting some new guys and getting out for a bit. Sorry to hear about the bike Isaac's Papa. It's a Duc though, should be a cheap an easy fix. Haha! In all seriousness though, I hope it is.

Nice to see you again NinjaDoc. You're going to have to transfer Southward, that way you're not exhausted after 14 hours of seat time, and then have to return to that state up North as the icing on the cake.

Is that pic you posted of Darin's Ducati the one Calovini had a part in building?

If that's the case, which I think it is, I almost bought that bike as my first bike on his recommendation. That was before it was rebuilt into the piece of art that it is today. Glad I didn't, cause I didn't have the money that was required to get it back on the road.

It's funny how I've come across that bike from multiple people, in multiple ways since I almost bought it. The Ohio motorcycling community sure is smaller than you'd expect. Everyone knows everyone somehow.

Meetup will be at route 62 and 60 in Warsaw at 9:30am.

Meet in Warsaw at the intersection of 36 and 60 at 9:30am. That will put us in M-burg at 10am.

Even if some one joins ride by millersburg,    83 to 78 is always a golden passage down, is there anything to beat that?

Haha...that's a good ride. But yes, there's alternate routes that are, in my opinion, better.

62-60-541-79-16 (for about 4 miles) -668 (one of my favorites) -93-216-78  That's one hell of a route, and then you could take 78-83 back North or vise versa.

I might be able to do this, without my significant other leaving me....then again maybe not. I hope to be there but I may get a massive guilt trip. We'll just have to see how it plays out.

Not sure who's going to join the Newark group, but if nobody does I can meet you guys in Millersburg......and if you need help finding the best route from Millersburg to SEO, I'd be glad to navigate. I know all the best roads from Millersburg to McConnelsville.

NinjaDoc, either we can meet you in Millersburg or you can meet us at KFC (route depending). But either way, we should definitely meet up and put some miles in.

4 days of rain and clouds has me hopeful that it will quit in time for the weekend....but this is Ohio.

I'm wanting to ride, so I figured I'd set a meet up, with a tentative route, depending on what everyone would like. Medium length (Coshocton area), medium long (Hocking area), and longish (Ohio river) routes available, and I'll ride all day if I can.

So, meet at KFC in Newark on SR 79N, just off of 16 at the Cedar street exit, at 11:30am. That's only about 25 minutes from Iron Pony, so you Columbus guys looking for a ride, this would be a good one.

Pace is brisk, but we don't leave anyone behind. Post up if you're looking to ride Saturday.
