  1. Had my GW, but when the Lady said she wasn't interested in riding on the back, I got out of it. For one-up cruising I like my 'Glide more. The GW was a hoot in many ways, at 85 on the highway, smooth as butta, you can punch it up to go around a truck and be at 115 by the time you've passed him -- that makes highways fun, and maybe a lil tricky with the man... On the twistys, yeah you can horse it around, but I wasn't really having fun doing it, just wishing I was on a different bike. This new version ? -- not anymore thanks. Dont see it selling very well.
  2. I might be interested in joining you on the thursday excursion! Bubba, let me know the plan!
  3. Gawd, that thing is sofa king cool. Want. Or, want the new Hyperstrada. Maybe more practical, like the 990 SMT.
  4. I'll be up for that later in the day ride. Gotta work till abt 1.
  5. I hit it today. Weather kept a lot of people away but the racing, as always, was great. Got a lil wet out there and the hill got muddy, times got long. Still good times.
  6. haha, yeah, wonder what day we should do the New Years Day ride...hmmm, have to ponder it for a bit...
  7. New Years day ride in the making!
  8. haha Helmutt you can do it! Wasn't the cold, it was the wind blown us off the road!
  9. Around 12k this year. 3 trips down to NC, DS trips to KY. Multiple SE Ohio weekends. Took september off the bike too, so a pretty good run for this year. Helped that the weather allowed winter riding and hope this year is as good.
  10. Snot, you need some of those powered-up sox! That'll do ya! We shoulda got some at Comp Acc while we were there!
  11. Thank you both! Let's ride again soon. Next weekend is dual sport riding in Renfro Valley...
  12. There is this thing in my garage: 2008 Bullitt. Some mods.
  13. Snot, ours was the most awesomest group! haha, yeah... Everyone home safe -- that's fantastic news. I didn't even see any mechanicals which is certainly unheard of with that many bikes. Says a lot about the Ohio Riders -- you all rocked! Thanks for letting me tag along.
  14. Great ride yesterday fellas! Even the slabbing felt good since I hadn't ridden in a month. Thanks the the party planners -- Ninjadoc &co. -- for a great idea done well.. I was in the slow group and we had a great time. We were NEVER LOST, we just weren't sure we were on the designated loop! Doesn't matter down there, every turn brings more great riding. Wasn't sure what to expect from riding with the group and didn't know the route ahead of time (my bad), so next time it'll be on a more sporting machine. No matter, the popoglide was fun too!
  15. Due to a last minute schedule change, I am IN for this ride. Will catch up with you at Comp Acc at 830. Riding the popoglide today.
  16. Good ride. Thanks for getting us out 'Rollin! barely even got wet.
  17. Well done indeed. Beautiful bride, lucky man!
  18. In. Can go earlier too! Prob roll into town about noon.
  19. Fantastic post. Thanks for sharing!
  20. I agree, the Vrod motor would be nice....and this one moves along quite nicely too. Not a screamer, 92 at the wheel, but also 85 lbft at the wheel.
