  1. Soft straps around the bottom triple tree, under the fairing, then hook tie downs to the soft straps. Fairing does not have to come off. Really consider a front wheel chock, lagged down to the pickup bed. With that and a good set of tie downs -- with the hog, I prefer to use the heavy duty ratcheting type -- the bike will stay put. Trick really is getting it in and out of the bed. Wide ramp, no holes big enough to step through(!). Get some elevation advantage like backing up to an opposite incline if you can find one convenient. Walk it up into the bed under power -- cover the brake(!). Back out with gravity, covering the brake. Have fun!
  2. 1973, riding my buddy's RD350. Left turn from a stop light, didn't think I'd gotten on the gas much (used to my old 125 dirt bike that needed lots of throttle), front end popped up and 'bout scared the pants off me! Held on to it and respected the throttle a bit more after that!

    Hi All

Hey welcome to OR! It's good to have too many projects, keeps a fella out of trouble..! haha.
  22. Tourmaster Sentinel rain suit works well. Mine is 3yo now and still keeps me dry. Not a body bag in the summer either, breathes pretty well.
