Burning river makes me suspect anything that comes out of Great lakes brewing Co. Tastes like it was pre-regurgitated.
  2. I've got a dodge nitro. Jeep changed the liberty over to the nitro platform in 07. Pretty much the same vehicle besides the looks and doesn't have a low range t-case. But apparently libertys arn't real jeeps anyway so I don't count at all. My offroading consists of 95% clear dirt trails, fording 1" of water and hopping over the occasional low cut stump or 3" limb. So I realy don't need anything more.
  3. If they don't look they won't see. Doesn't matter if it's a squirrel or an aircraft carrier they are about to hit. Can't fix stupid
  4. I like keltec for being inexpensive and utilitarian, but still inovative designs. I've got a P3AT, a design that other makes have finally started to copy. You can pick em up new for $250. They arn't pretty but it was and is still one of the smallest locking barrel 380s. Because of the small size and weight, they arn't the most comfortable to shoot. mag extensions make them more controlable though.

Awww did the noob kill the thread? Polished off the rest of my IPA with Sorachi Ace hops. mmmm. Still have some of my amber with rye, and caraway. I'm surprised noone has posed up an arrogant bastard ale. I saw a ginormous bottle of the stuff at jungle jims.. should have snapped a pic.
  6. I've got a clymer book for my ex500 so I'm good. Was just commenting the pdf for mine was more a factory parts catalogue than anything else. Still usefull though.
  7. It's just the exploded diagrams with part list. Go to the OEM part sites and look at the diagrams there. Same thing. I suppose it does help let you know how to put it back together, and if you are missing anything, if you tore down your bike months ago and forget how it goes back together. But I didn't see any torque specs.
  8. Sounds good, where should I post it? Tech n tips? New helmet should be coming in tomorrow. Sweet, I can ride legally this weekend!
  9. Temperature difference is big regarding how much evaporation there is to deal with. A reef tank tends to be kept around 78deg. with my 65gal I'd haveto replace a gallon a day when the room temp was 70 durring winter. Through summer I kept the ac set to 76 and had to top off much less. But if you can keep the water at room temperature (or below) There should be much less evaporation and less humidity. The first tank looks like it's a freshwater and is likely near room temp.
  10. Wowz! I'm breaking down my 65gal reef tank this weekend that I've had up for a year. Probably going to sell it off since I'm moving. I'll still have a 30gal cube I've been preping for a lionfish, and a little 3.4gal pico reef. But the most awsome tank I've seen is one in a radisson in Berlin.. It's even got an elevator through the middle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Oeu5JTDRUc&feature=related
  11. $100, and I used my s&w sigma .40 that I won a few years ago at an NRA dinner.
  12. Lol well I did take the CCW course, but have been too lazy to go down to the courthouse, so you've got me there. I am a homebrewer (hense the name) so I have been know to knock back a few from time to time. I do my best to avoid the crazies, though I imagine a different crazy than what you are speaking of.. or maybe not I'd post a pic of the bike, but it's realy nothing to look at right now. Just imagine a bent upper fairing bracket holding the headlight at an angle (no fairing), a tank that has a nice bar kiss and looks like someone took the decals off of with a chainsaw:wtf:. aand the seat fairing with a ton of decal residue. otherwise it's blue with white wheels. I hope to get a new upper and try my hand at vinyl wrap since painting is messy and tedious, let alone the typical mediocre results. I appreciate the walcomes folks
  13. Tires don't seem to show any sign of dryrot. The tread looks good, though the guy rode it to the meeting spot with very low pressure in them, scary. I didn't know tires actually have a date marking on them, cool. I'll check that out. I don't know how thick the pads come new, but there looked to be about 1/8" of pad material left. I'll check out the rest of the system, and put the brake line on the list for the winter. I've replaced pads, disks, calipers and hardlines on cars for friends and family, so I can't imagine this would be too much different. Do they use standard automotive brake fluid? Thanks for the headsup!

Does this count? left to right: Stout, Bitburger clone (unlagered), fat tire clone. 5 gallons each . Though still in the process of becoming beer in the pic
  15. Hello All! Just scored my first bike a week ago. 93 EX500. Runs well but needs alot of TLC in the looks department. Got the title/tags sorted out, and my M temps Saturday. Been out the past couple days for a little bit. fun fun! Getting to the end of the season obviously, but I hope to hit the ground running next year. Gives me some time to do needed repairs.. Overhauling the forks is probably the most urgent, since the seals are bubbling with rust Anyone near Loveland? I'll be moving over there, close to 71, soon.
