I know I'll get shit over this but I like the nicer (smoother finish, not cheap cast crap) Harbor Freight stuff. I have been a factory line mechanic for over 25 years and the HF wrenches have never failed me. I can leave them hanging on a machine for hours sometimes overnight and they NEVER grow legs. In the late 80's I had only Craftsman and one by one they started to walk off. Today at work I use only Snap-on because that is what our new owners (Nestle) requires, all mechanics must carry same tools (they call it the WOW factor). While in my garage I use everything from HF to SK to Craftsman they all seem to get the job done.

Never really thought about it. If the dogs detected something strange and we get to a gun before things were sorted out it could get ugly really quick. With adrenaline pumping someone might get hurt.

Ouch that gotta hurt

I made one out of a pallet lift from work. It has a 5500 lbs capacity, lifts 52 in and only cost $53 (scrape price). Sounded great.... but it is 980 lbs, had a 480v 3ph. After some welding a new motor and new hydraulic lines it works but I probably should have gone to HF instead.

Ya thanks. Great comparison. Thought it would be better then IP parking lot. I was wrong. As for I75 rockslide, we had no delay at all (5pm on a monday).

We are 400 miles into our trip. Visited with brother in-law in Pickerington then slept in a Walmart parking lot in Morse rd. Now waiting for IP to open for some tires.

My thoughts exactly.

Would be a stealthy terror. I'm not ready YET, but maybe someday.

I'm always looking for free 180/55/17 tires that are worn out. If anyone brings them to Fontana it would be appriciated. Or near Reynoldsburg sunday afternoon.

That was close. I thought it might be a real super hero.

Just heard they were all from Muskegon, MI. A town about 20 miles from me. Still no names on local news. I work with and know many riders from the Muskegon area.

I also always stop by the Ocoee whitewater visitors center. Picnic area in the shade. Cool if water isn't running and a must see when water is released http://www.fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsinternet/!ut/p/c5/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3gDfxMDT8MwRydLA1cj72BTJw8jAwgAykeaxcN4jhYG_h4eYX5hPgYwefy6w0H24dcPNgEHcDTQ9_PIz03VL8iNMMgycVQEAHcGOlk!/dl3/d3/L2dJQSEvUUt3QS9ZQnZ3LzZfME80MEkxVkFCOTBFMktTNUJIMjAwMDAwMDA!/?ss=110804&navtype=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&cid=FSE_003741&navid=110000000000000&pnavid=null&position=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&recid=35096&ttype=recarea&name=Ocoee%20Whitewater%20Center&pname=Cherokee%20National%20Forest%20-%20Ocoee%20Whitewater%20Center -

If your near Tellico Plains (west end of Cherohala Skyway) check out Walt's BBQ. On 68 south of town a mile. I really like their BBQ's and service. http://www.lodgeattellico.com/restaurant.htm If in Robbinsville Carolina Kitchen is really good http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/230/1528884/restaurant/North-Carolina/Carolina-Kitchen-Robbinsville -

I'm not very tech savy when it comes to planning a trip on the computor then loading it on a GPS. But I do know I like checking out different options on my tomtom much better then my garmin (both are cheap units). However the garmin gives much better directions.

I may be a Nancy also. If you see my bike on the slab.... IT'S STOLEN. I like trailering, have air, cruise, co-pilot, tools, food, spare bike...ect. Just nice to be relaxed when I get there. It's like a 15 hour trip for me. Did spend alot of time prepping the Somer Kotage for this trip. New tires, wheels, bearings, brakes, awning (with new matching stripe) and sealed roof. Also put aluminum diamond plate on front and replaced some damaged wood caused by PO jack-knifing the trailer.
