    Hi, new to the forum and have been an automotive refinisher for 7 years. Are you looking to have it done or suggestions/tips on tackling it yourself?

    You will never get a good finish back out of it trying to strip the new layer and polish the old....sand blast and refinish. No use beating around the bush.

    I use honda off-road lube w/ white graphite one both the quad (obviously) and also the vstrom. Seems to be treating me good. Dont see any reason to buy another type of lubricant for the street bike. The streets of Cleveland are worse than where the 400ex goes anyhow.

    Hey, new here from north eastern ohio...Cleveland area. Thought I'd post a thing or two about myself before jumping in. I'm an auto mechanic and love to ride and shoot guns. Thats about it I guess. A few pics of the the bike as she sits for winter, commuting sucks without her. Also a pic of the dirt monster:D
