  7. My current employer is currently looking for a technician. They usually try word of mouth before putting an ad in the paper. Thats right I said paper (no CL here), were a little old school. We are a specialty shop dealing with only honda and toyota. If your in need of work or a change let me know. Great medical coverage. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  8. I live alone, so whatever beer is left in the fridge and my side arm. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  9. Most shops that I have worked at I had to eat the (my) labor for repairing the damaged hardware. If your not flat rate the shop usually eats it. The knuckle probably would not have been replaced, just repaired. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  10. I would have drilled out the old bolt and re-tapped it. Heat is always your friend when it comes to stubborn hardware, especially if those control arms are aluminum. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll be sending the seat down to Florida. His work looks top notch. I'll post some pics when it comes back. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  12. These are from Belleville, they are waterproof, don't remember specific model. Comfortable for daily ride to work (bike or truck) and work itself. I've hade these for over 2 years now and haven't let me down what-so-ever. Probably depends on what your riding though, obviously not recommended for sport bike riding.
  13. OK, so I have a wee strom, right. Went to the dealer, they dis-continued the tall version of the touring seat. It's understandable, probably not too many sales for them. I mean how many people over 6 foot ride the wee? Anyhow, I'm already running a peg lowering kit that I found on ADVrider and also lifted the bike to compensate (so they dont scrape). Still looking for a little more room to make the wee into the cadillac of my dreams. I am looking to have my current seat re-done to raise it another 3/4" or so. I thought about going with an aftermarket but none offer what I am looking for. I'm not too keen on shipping the seat out to have it done. Does anyone have any suggestions on a place in Ohio that can help me re-do the foam and re-cover the seat. BTW I already thought about a used dl1000 seat, but looking for something a little more. Any input or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
  14. I'd definately be in for a cleveland meet n greet when better weather comes around.
  15. Welcome, seems to be a few clevelanders popping up lately (myself included).
  16. 1911. All you'll ever need for home defense or to carry. Parts are everywhere, and there is one in every price range and caliber. Its a true classic and has been around forever. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  17. The local gun shop here sells them. I would definately recommend trying them on first, they're usually 1/2 a size too large. Sent from my LG-P509 using Tapatalk
  18. Welcome, I'm also new here from Cleveland area. Hope to see everyone around this spring, and possible get into a few group rides. Or why wait for spring, lets have a beer.
  19. Alot of ya'll are wearing some heavy ass boots. I swear by belleville or cochran. Super light & American made, military standard issue, you can find them at copshoes.com I've also tried bates but nothing compares to the ville's Ive had for the last 5 years (and not falling apart as an auto mechanic/hunter/etc.)
  20. I actually found this place through tapatalk through my phone, I enjoy using that one. It was only $2 and has an easy format and has plenty of other sites. I dont know if I would do the app thing for just one site, but that my personal opinion. Take care. Jasun
