  1. That's a good deal. Go for it.
  2. It wasn't a BMW. I was just making an observation. Sorry to have offended you by having an opinion.
  3. I don't think he was trying to speak down to you, just giving the cold hard facts. I'm glad you could give us your history with bikes, but the truth of the matter is we all want to see everyone make it home safe, no matter what they ride. I think it was just a suggestion for newer riders, and since we didn't have that history lesson from you, and your previous post made us assume you were one. No harm, no foul. I agree 100% with MT. I also support lane splitting, but not for me. I don't have the miles that would make me comfortable to do that.
  4. Actually not a bad experience. Only one dirty look from a mid 60s woman who thought she was still 20. Got out of a yuppie, over priced car with a skirt on to let everyone see the tail of the dragon on her legs in varicose veins.
  5. Picking up my dad's parts for his road king on my way home today, at Freedom in N. Canton. Hopefully I don't get involved in an argument with a narrow minded yuppie.
  6. Yeah, fox 8 is calling her the mom of the year. How about they raise their kids better than to participate in the riots to begin with?
  7. So how frozen did you get this morning?
  8. Welcome from Massillon, I grew up in Orrville.
  9. Plenty of Harley guys ride in where I work, but I was the ONLY bike here last Friday. I get to work before the sun comes up, too. The roads were still wet. I made it just fine on my dirty, old Suzuki.
  10. I use this for chrome and anything I have polished. I was told it was designed for flat bumpers on Semis. No need to tell me if I'm using the wrong stuff, I like it. http://www.amazon.com/Zephyr-Pro-40-Metal-Polish-16/dp/B002SS5ZCU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429522414&sr=8-1&keywords=zephyr+pro+40
  11. Any bike is great in the correct hands. I grew up around Harleys, and I like to bash them in front of my dad because he can't ride anymore and it bothers him. It's funny to me, but I Really don't have a problem with any bike. Harleys aren't for me, but the bikes I ride aren't for everybody else. I don't care what anyone rides. If they want to ride, let's go. Just don't act like a jackass, and I will ride with them again.
  12. So did they approach you about doing it?
  13. So, they used your bike for development and their ad on the website. Then they made a video of your bike with the exhaust installed and someone else riding it...... Did you at least get a discount? BTW, I love Brock's systems.
  14. Bought them for my wife. They go to her thumb. Never really worn. Retail for 70, brand new for 50. Pm for pics or I can text them. 330 four six 4 832 seven
  15. Toss me a PM with what you want and maybe we can work something out.
  16. Well, I'm sorta looking to keep my own stock like I have for mikuni internals right now. May just gather gaskets and such and do both the 550 and 850 at the same time to see if I can swap some back and forth, but since the shims are getting harder to find, I'm looking towards the future when they are impossible to find without buying a parts bike. I still want to build up a bigger inventory of mikuni parts as well.
  17. I'm looking for some shims. Suzuki 29.5 mm most importantly. Maybe some spare carbs racks that are sitting around gathering dust? Mikuni, Keihin or even S&S. All as cheap as possible, I'm a cheap ass. Could barter other parts or services if needed, or if I have the parts.
  18. You weren't holding your mouth right, Sam.
  19. Did anyone else try it? I'm still a bit hazy on this photobucket thing.
