Finally got a new job so the wife said I could reward myself with buying something for my bike. A purchase she knows about. Anyway I decided on finally getting some highway pegs. Found the Type of pegs I want http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/495/Longhorn-Offset-Peg-Mounts but I need to get the right size of Quick Clamp(s) to go with it. The clamps will be attaching to my down tubes of the frame. I measured the tube to be 35.25 mm round which translates to 1.38 inch. The clamps come in at sizes of 1-1/4 , 1.35, 1 - 1/8, 1, and 1-1/2. He suggested i get the 1.35 size, My question is wont the 1.35 be too small for the frame tube? Should I get a bigger size?
