  1. It will have to be tight or it will move. Smaller than the tube is typical, so it will be tight. Larger than the tube, with rubber or something in between is also done. Prevents scratching the frame. It will have to be tight also. I've done it both ways.

    Smaller = scratch the frame.

    Larger = might move.

    Opinion, it's a clamp, it's probably going to move anyway. But Kuryakyn is a good name brand.

    Yeah I know its a good brand. I Don't want to scratch the frame yet i don't want to be going 70 down 270 and it moves and my foot smacks the pavement.

  2. This is right after i finished mine. I have since added some cabinets on the left wall, and it's a lot messier lol.

    Also Harley gone haha

    Garage deck flooring

    The bar and work bench are built by me, I used galvanized steel for the tops

    Bar has a mini fridge built in behind it

    Workbench has my air compressor hidden in it

    32" led tv onthewall behind bar with swing out mount, hd DVD box and amplified stereo hooked to it

    The cabinets came from someone who was remodeling and threw them out. I got another set a month ago and put them on the left wall.

    I frenched in 2 window ac units where the windows were.

    Have a wall mount propane heater

    Ceiling is insulated as well as the walls. Framed out with 2x2s and drywalled

    Ceiling is drywalled and finished with a texture finish

    Retired the entire garage and put in several new outlets, and wired in six 4ft. 2 bulb fluorescent lights.

    There is more id like to do, but time to do it is very hard to come by.

    I can keep the garage at like 75 degrees in the dead of winter and about 68 in the dead of summer

    I'm pretty happy with it!

  3. Edited - Not worth commenting on other than I think it was a very stand up act for Walmart to call you so soon and apologize. That shows very good customer service and follow-through.

    What the hell is this "Customer Service" ever keeps talking about. Everytime I go to krogers all the people working there are kids talking about how billy loves jill and what they are going to wear to the bonfire and oh i got my first period.... Blah Blah Blah STFU and bag my groceries.

  4. Finally got a new job so the wife said I could reward myself with buying something for my bike. A purchase she knows about. Anyway I decided on finally getting some highway pegs. Found the Type of pegs I want

    but I need to get the right size of Quick Clamp(s) to go with it. The clamps will be attaching to my down tubes of the frame. I measured the tube to be 35.25 mm round which translates to 1.38 inch. The clamps come in at sizes of 1-1/4 , 1.35, 1 - 1/8, 1, and 1-1/2. Here is the product page for them

    I am working with Nate to get the right stuff. He suggested i get the 1.35 size, My question is wont the 1.35 be too small for the frame tube? Should I get a bigger size?
