  1. I will be on the darkside all season. Pirelli ftw! It's not like I have a prayer of winning contingency in my class anyways lol. Also, I ordered some new goodies to help me not have to quit this year.
  2. All signed up! Can't wait to get out there! Guess I should get off my ass and get my suspension done and my leathers repaired. I will be on fresh rubber this time my friend also, I am going to try to man up and not be the stereotypical liter bike guy who brakes way too early into one .
  3. Thanks! Hope to see you at a few Motoseries events!
  4. I have a deal setup right now for just a bit over a grand. I am going to get everything refreshed and resprung. I can always further upgrade in the future if I can get fast enough to justify it...or when I get bored over a future winter. I am sure that for me the upgrade will be more than adequate and confidence inspiring to pick up my pace vs the stock stuff I have been rolling around on. Hopefully or I will be eating some crow when I see you in the pits lol.
  5. I should also clarify to the top paragraph is the ohlins info provided. I am not naive enough to believe that race teams arent modifying these and setting them up for their needs; however, I am not at that level nor likely ever will be. This is a fun hobby for me that I am trying to improve at but its not going to be anything more than that for me. Thus cost trumps performance threshold for me.
  6. TTX technology inside, immediate response, wide adjustment range with external adjusters.Completely separated compression and rebound function.CNC machined upper fork legs, create tuned flex.Improved internal valving.Lighter inner and outer tubes.25mm internal pistons. Approximately 500 grams lighter than FG 570.New improved settings, easier to adjust.New top cap design.Radial mount caliper brackets, new spring guides and interchangeable caliper brackets.New manual with more detailed set up information. Used in AMA, WSBK, BSB, JSBK and other major national events. These are the very same forks the best riders in the world are currently using. I ended up picking up the older prxls. Don't get me wrong I would have loved to get a ttx but I couldn't find a used one. I am doing all this on a budget while trying financially footing the majority of the bills getting my wife through school. As for the forks, they are a deal for sure as I cant really even get new cartridges for the price I found them. I am used to riding around on stock suspension which isnt even sprung for my fat ass. No matter what these will be a major improvement for me which my skill level is likely never to top. I am going to get them refreshed and sprung for my weight. I appreciate your input on the subject though as your racing experience far outweighs mine.
  7. Agreed. Need to keep it more business professional when in public. Looking forward to trying it out this year. Kind of want to ride it stock and then switch so I can fully appreciate the differences.
  8. I just found a set of used ohlins fgr804 forks for my bike for a really good deal. Seriously thinking I am going to make them mine. Payday is Friday!
  9. Bromance at its finest...secretively.
  10. Passing me is setting your standards low...its an accomplishment if you pass desmo_brian or Agnes though. I got passed by an sv going into 12 like I was sitting still (video to prove it). Again though, I say, bring it. You both have underlying motives, I am certain...chasing me for my soul.
  11. I believe the mini 20 counts. I was t on a 600 though...you could always man up and get on a 1000 and seriously underutilize it like I do.
  12. Bus stop at Grattan was a one time deal. You are living in the past, my friend. I didnt see you once during a race this year....mainly because I didn't make it to half of them...lol.
  13. I love you assholes...unless one of you passes me this year and I am forced to quit. Then it is eternal hatred for you.
  14. I meant to quote the one about it being all putnam's fault.
  15. Fully agree. It is the oatmeal raisin cookie of race tracks.
  16. Hey, my anger in no way compares to yours. Gingers have the lock up on that category.
  17. I was taking it easy. I was following Matt and Taft during a tow. The only scapegoat being: it's Putnam's fault.
  18. Reread you illiterate douche nugget. I said it stands if they have already passed me and I crash. If my crash precedes their pass it does not.
  19. Also, by pass, I believe you have to make it stick and finish in front of me at the checkered. Given that I think both of you ran faster times than me this year at all tracks.
  20. I will quit if either of you dickwads pass me during a race. If said race does not end in a crash for me. Unless of course you have already passed me. But neither of you get the bike. New strategy. Race mini 40 or 3 hour or whichever races you aren't in.
  21. No, because Putnam, like Gingerman. Sucks! Still bitter about that 4 hour drive just to crash and break the bike on the first lap of Saturday. I can feel the cross hairs on my back now, lol. This is going to be a great season. Pretty sure I may have to quit this year...
  22. Harsh. I don't know that anything is more inferior than my bone stock suspension currently on it, and that would still stand true if Craig were sitting on my bike at the time. Albeit, just barely.
  23. Bring it, B-randon. I will quit if you pass me
