  1. Looks like I am working all weekend; however, I am off Monday...sounds like this might need to happen. Still haven't rode Mid-O yet.
  2. Gotcha. I am in limbo at the moment. Just depends on what progress I make on the bike on Friday and Saturday (if needed).
  3. Are we pretty serious about doing the 3 hour with Jinu's Honda? I was able to get my bike about half done tonight but I am running out of time to get it finished (have to work the next 3 days). I have my swingarm but I think I may need to put new bushings in it. Need to fix my exhaust hanger. Finish painting the tail and rivet the chain on. Put number plate on it. Etc. Just let me know if you do need another rider and what not. More than happy to put in the cash to contribute.
  4. Guess we just have to ride it "naked"...
  5. Nope, still waiting. The seller, mistakenly sent me a rear shock ('mislabeled it', apparently). Supposedly, he corrected his mistake and sent me the swingarm (which I am still waiting on). Hopefully, it will show up today. I would know if USPS ever updated there tracking. If it doesn't show today, I don't know when I am going to get it done as I have to start a stretch of back to back to back 12 hour shifts.
  6. The offer stands as long as it is an official 4 second lap time (as opposed to a 64 second lap time).
  7. This is true. I already owe quite a few HJ's, and we haven't even turned a lap out there, yet. Still waiting on parts...I am going to lose my mind if I can't get it back together in time.
  8. I will keep you guys posted. At this point, I am just waiting for the parts to arrive. Just hoping it will go back together smoothly and I won't find more broken parts.
  9. Alright, back on topic: Beaver at the end of June and blatant homosexuality.
  10. Definitely an HJ for you! I searched it roughly 10 different ways and never came across one!
  11. Sounds great! This will definitely be strange though having to ride one at a time ...that's not the way I am accustom to riding jap whores with you guys. Let me know what you guys need. Definitely would put in my part for entry, gas, tires, and what not.
  12. Swingarm is tweaked and at the moment (short of a dented, chrome one) I can't find one on ebay or the zx-10r.net forums either. New ones are $600...I am hoping one shows up soon...
  13. If I can find a swingarm, I should have all the parts I need to get this thing going again. Going to tear it apart tomorrow and see what else I need. I have to see what my work schedule is like too. If all else fails, I am willing to ride somebody's bike In all seriousness, I would definitely be down for the three hour team if that is a go. Also, John, we need to get together sometime soon (if you know what I mean!)
  14. No doubt, I definitely had no plans of checking up once I saw the red flag, I just threw my hand out and was going to gradually slow it down. The guy in front of me checked up (not bad) but caused me to have to check up more than I would have liked. The two behind me as you point out didn't see it and where still going for it...I was in the way...
  15. If you watch the beginning, as jbot points out, numerous other riders saw the same red flag I saw exiting 13. This is of course looking down a long straight. Additionally, as jbot points out, the guy in front of me checked up causing me to checkup. I don't know about the rest of the guys but I look down the straight, not at the ground in front of my tire or at my speedo. Not being a dick, just saying. Glad neither of us were hurt.
  16. All in all, Saturday was great. Really improved my riding out there and got to battle with Hollywood. On the other hand, Sunday was not the way I would have preferred to have experienced my first race. I will be back, and the next time I crash I really hope it's my own dumb fault. Great seeing all you guys this weekend. I appreciate everyone who helped out and stopped by. Hope to see you at Beaver if everything goes as well as it can.
  17. Ha, no previous experience with bull riding. Apparently it is just an inherent talent I poses but would prefer never to display again.
  18. Thanks bud, I will be back out there as soon as I can. Have to start pulling it apart to see what I need. Saturday was just a blast. Sunday was a whole 'nother kind of blast. For all I knew it was a mack truck.
