  1. Any recommendations for a shop to refresh it and do a baseline set up in the Columbus area?
  2. Hey, I have never been passed by him yet. Yet that is, those gingers are getting fast.
  3. This is probably true...but I also get to keep my dignity this way! I have seen the suzuki riders: you, john...I like everyone else who rides one. You two are reason enough to keep me continuing with my wide birth around Zuk riders
  4. Bought it. Now I'm off to browse the internet and burn up the bank account for fork cartridges.
  5. Thanks for the quick responses guys.I have been keeping my options open to most all of the major aftermarket companies but its just been a matter of very limited options popping up. You guys helped push me over the edge on this one, going to buy the used ohlins and get it refreshed. I have no doubt it will be much better than the stock stuff I am currently rolling on.
  6. Good luck on the season! Looking forward to seeing the progress. (I need to find sponsors for my slow ass).
  7. Question for you guys. I am looking to upgrade the suspension on my Kawi. I have been looking at the ohlins ttx and 30mm cartridge kit (new $2278). Came accross a deal on the older Ohlins PRXLS, used for 550. Should I jump on this and just have it refreshed or hold out for a ttx? Preferably buying used no matter what but aftermarket suspension for my 10 is few and far between.
  8. Sounds like it was a good time. Wish I could have made it. Looking forward to seeing you gays...I mean guys, at the track in May!
  9. Well, if you can't wait for the IMS, John is always willing to show off his trailer, house, shed, public bathroom, park bench, office, etc.on an anytime basis.
  10. Welcome. Make sure you stop in around the pits. Motoseries is a good bunch of guys and girls.
  11. ^True. No one can replace you, women don't exist with hands as big as yous. Also, perhaps we should suggest they have a shower party...it will help quell their shame in us. Atleast that is what we will tell them.
  12. Haha, it's all good.I didn't take it personally, at all. I hear it from all of these assholes, regularly. I just have to dish it back.
  13. The guy will "race" with anyone, at anytime. No matter what he tells you, it isn't "special."
  14. I should, but I have so much invested in the 10 now that I don't want to give it away. Also, I am lazy and don't want to shift that much, lol. Most of all, I enjoy being the stereotypical 1000 guy who can't outrun a 600 in the corners but passes Hollywood w/ ease down the straights.
  15. Again? I thought we agreed to keep our love out of the spot light. Might as well show the forum that special PM I sent you a year ago...
  16. We are eloping, baller style. That said, let's not derail this thread with boring wedding stuff. Let's get back to the gay stuff that I read each and every post of last night, all 13 pages as of then. I will be at as many rounds as I can this year, bringing up the rear of the 1000's. Probably will focus my efforts on the 1000GT and Mini20.
  17. I only have a few moments before she realizes I have slipped away. Send help, that is all. Actually, just been working and in the process of taking a new job so as to hopefully have racing money for this year. Also, I miss all of you balloon knot lovers and can't wait to personally stuff each and every one of you on and off the track.
  18. If it is the 15th, I am scheduled to work. I will see if someone is willing to pick it up for me.
  19. Haha, this thread has Win written all over it. Mid December is probably best; however, I work every other weekend and I know the weekend of Dec. 15th I am working. You may all use that to your advantage to include or exclude me from the get togethers, haha.
  20. My focus this year is to get more consistent and more fluid, which will hopefully, as a result drop my times (making me more competitive). I have been able to move on from my big wreck (ass packing) and the following race I did pretty well given it was my first actual completed race. I was also racing 1000 superbike but I just don't have the speed to keep up with the experts. I am able to stay out front of the novices which leaves me in a bubble on the track where I ride alone and I don't think this is helpful. I think this year, I may scrap the superbike race and move to 1000GT and see what that has to offer and continue to do the mini20. I don't expect to compete with Agnes, Peters, or Brian anytime too soon but I am hoping I can dice with some of the pack. I have always been pretty good and focusing at the task at hand when the visor goes down but I need to get better . As noted by several others, I need to focus on sections of the track and then piecing it all together. Too much of the time I am just chasing lap times or dicing with other members of the forum (which is a blast and to some degree helpful). I need to work on many aspects, especially getting myself to break later and get back on the gas sooner and more smoothly. I need to get my lanky ass off the bike more and I need to start asking for more help from the veterans. Last but not least, I need to make it to a lot more rounds this year (screw working every other weekend, seriously cuts into the fun.)
  21. Hollywood: It isn't allowing me to quote... Erroneous, I stayed on at Nelson after being shot out of a cannon. Beaverrun went fine this year (knocking you off the podium in the 20). As, for Putnam, F that place, that is all. It is like Gingerman's less retarded cousin.
  22. I am considering going to Nelson on the 1st. Need some seat time.
