I agree with you on most of this. Nursing is considered a stable job in a down economy and therefore many students are moving into it. Also the fact that nurses are staying longer in their field is reducing jobs. And of course all the students do not stay, I never said they all stay, or most stay, just that many do. I guess I should clarify my statement better. I did not hear, I know. I went to UC, I dated a nursing student for 5 years. I know a head nurse at Miami Valley Hospital. My cousin graduated from UC as a nurse. I can't make a blanket statement about OSU and probably shouldn't have because I don't know a lot about their program. I do know UC's wait list is currently at 3 years to get in. I do know most of their graduates easily get jobs right out of school IF they are willing to move to other states. Not ALL states, other states. Did I say Ohio had the toughest job market? I don't think I did. But I do know it is tougher than many other states. And as always, anyone with a specialty in any type of field usually finds it easier to find a job.

Yeah. 200 miles on it. I wanted to go with a wider tire for looks mostly. But I think you're right, I will probably be in the market for a new bike next year so no need to drop money on the 250. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but as I get more seat time I will want more power.

I picked up this helmet about a week ago. It is considerably quieter and lighter than the helmet I was borrowing. The picture does not do it justice on the paint, it is brighter in person. It doesn't quite match the paint on my bike but it is pretty damn close. I have fallen in love with the built-in flip down sun shade. It doesn't go down all the way but it definitely comes down enough to function. Plus it looks really awesome. If I had anything negative to say it would be that the vents on the top of the helmet don't really move a lot of air. I think the vents in the front make up for that though. We will see when it gets warmer though. The inside is soft and comfortable, nothing pokes at my head while riding and it's not itchy like the last helmet I was using. At $199 I would say it gives you bang for your buck.

Caught this quote from an engineer on a Ninja 250 site... Would you agree? Keep it stock?

Does anyone know for sure how wide of a rear tire you can put on a 2012 Ninja 250r? I tried researching this but some are saying they have 170 and some are saying a 150 will not fit. Need some help! (130 is stock)

Ohio isn't quite the best state to find a job in the medical field though. Our Universities are top in the country in the medical field so students come from all over the country to get degrees at them. Mainly Ohio State and UC. Then after their clinicals they end up getting jobs here. The wait list at UC for nursing is pushing 4 years to get in now. I heard it's extremely easy to get jobs in most other states with any type of healthcare degree.

I can tell them we're coming. I was waiting to see how many people are going to be there first. I kind of planned on walking in and getting a sandwich then checking out everyone's bikes while I eat. You may be right about the lot but there is plenty of parking right across the street. I have never been to Porky's but have heard great things. I have to run up to Wal-Mart tonight so I'm going to scope it out. Also the reason I chose 2pm was because it would be a slow time of the day for them. edit: I messaged them on facebook to let them know. I told them if the weather is nice we could have a lot of people show up, if it sucks there may only be a few of us. edit2: Checked it out tonight. Looks like it will be a great place for a meet. If more than 50 people come we may have to park some bikes across the street but other than that I think we're fine.

I've done a lot of research in the past few months and I find Columbus has by far the best selection of used bikes on Craigslist in Ohio. I also noticed the further south you are willing to go to buy a bike, the more bang you get for your buck. R6's / R1's...
