Same issue I have. Everyone seems to price everything more than MSRP on Craigslist. I've seen some people price 08's and 09's with over 10k miles for the price of a 2012 with 5 miles. Gets to be ridiculous

That's a good question. I imagine I could pick up the Hyundai turbo kit and not void warranties It's the same engine and transmission as the turbo'd version... just no turbo

It's pretty slow but I knew that before buying. I've heard a lot of great things lately about Hyundai's reliability and they have long warranties. This is a car I plan on driving for a long time as a commuter. I drove the turbo version of the Veloster as well but it was more speed than I need. When I wanna go fast I'll ride a motorcycle

Lots of cool stuff you can do with the computer built into it. Just jailbroke my iPhone and I'm able to use any GPS system on the iPhone hooked up into the lcd in the car. They also have a bluelink app with remote start from anywhere and lots of other cool stuff that you can do. I'm a techie so it's perfect for me. Plus the 37mpg is pretty nice.

I guess I never really thought about the "cool" factor between the 600's. To me they look the same. I sat on the different 600's just to get a feel and the GSXR and CBR just seemed more comfortable with my riding position. The R6 made me feel like I was sitting on the tank lol My 250 struggled with highway speeds and there were a few instances where I almost got squashed because they didn't see me and it didn't have the power to out accelerate their mistake and I had to brake hard and hope the person behind me was paying attention. I just want a nice, completely stock, 600cc bike and not pay more for it because of what model it is. Anyways... now I feel it may turn into me ranting. I don't like insurance companies lol

As some know, I'm looking for a 600 sport bike and as I was looking at the different brands of bikes I decided to get some insurance quotes for a 600. Just to see the difference in the 250. I called my insurance agent and he was asking me about the bike in particular I was looking at. I told him to go ahead and quote me on a GSXR 600 and CBR 600 because those are the two I was most interested in. Told him to quote both as a 2009. GSXR600 = $600 a year with collision CBR600 = $400 a year with collision I asked him why the difference. He says GSXR riders have a "reputation" Now I've seen it multiple times that gixxer riders are considered squids. But now if I want to buy that bike it costs me an extra $200 a year? Someone please explain this to me... How did this reputation come about? Is there some kind of GSXR history I am unaware of? Is it the most popular stunting bike and people buy it and wreck it more often?

Nothing intense and not long distances.

Sold my 250 and ready to upgrade. Price Range: $4k to $6k. If I really love it I will go higher. No interest in anything larger than a 600. Will have this one for a long time so looking for a bike with low"ish" miles. Color doesn't matter much because I will likely swap out the plastics with all white anyways so I can do some awesome decal art. New design every year If you're really good at finding bikes help me out here. I'm not having much luck on CL searching.
