150-155 whp with supporting mods, so far I've done an 11.2 1/4 @ 127mph & that's launching like a pussy. It's very upright and insurance considers it "sport touring" I've owned only 2 other bikes and I'm very pleased with my fz1.double thumbin' it!

Fz1! Mines much more than 2.5k, but u can get some very reliable one locally in cbus for like 2 to 3.5k max. Mods are cheaper than dirt and it will def put a smile on your face for your purposes. double thumbin' it!

Alright boys and girls this happened in Texas no idea what the law is specifically in Tx, but if a law enforcement officer asks you to put out your cigarette you do so. Otherwise it's considered not complying with a lawful order of a peace officer. Why did he ask for her to put it out? Same reason why you are not allowed to smoke in a restaurant also it can be used as a deadly weapon. She flicks that lit cig at his eye he could lose his eyesight. Think it can't happen? Guess again. Was the cop being a dick for even pulling her over? Kinda, because he definitely has better things to do. However he was probably phishing to see what her deal was. Normally most LE like 2 have multiple equipment violations or multiple moving violations before they pull you over. Mainly because they don't wanna seem like dicks for pulling u over for a headlight out or turn signal. Also it looks better in court if u can state "judge I pulled the defended over due to having a cracked windshield, a head light out, and failing to use their turn signal." However, I can speak from experience that the biggest drug stop I've ever had was due to a marked lanes violation in a small village police department. 300+ grams of Marijuana, 50+ baggies, a pint of herbicide/pesticide, digital scale, and a hydroponics growing magazine. Lastly, I've been to Texas have never spoken to the LE down there but I've heard from locals that you don't fuck with the Texas highway patrol and now I know why. double thumbin' it!

Chemical Guys V07, it's a quick detailer/spray on wax/paint sealant all in 1. It's leaves a very slick finish as well. Nothing helps 100% 2 deflect bugs/dirt but this stuff does as very decent job, it also makes it easier w get bugs/dirt off. Below is a pic of my car paint job after 1 coat, which is all u need btw. double thumbin' it!

riders discount came thru w a killer deal the Xena xx6 for like $55 shipped, I know nothing will prevent someone from stealing my bike if they want it that bad, but it's about keeping honest people honest. Anything to help deter them or take them more time - can mean the different bet my shit getting stolen, or not. I do have state farm with a $250 deductible though

whats your exact address again please ? but since all locks can be defeated it's a matter of making it more trouble than it's worth, that's what I'm getting at
-
I'm sure some have you have read in the past the guy on Reddit AMA that use to be a bike thief and shared his "how to not get your shit stolen" idea's. If you haven't read it, please do it's a a real eye opener. I am in need of a disc lock or U lock to lock my bike, as well as helmet and jacket. What do you guys use on your bikes if anything? I was looking at this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005YPK8G2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3Q4XO3VNRL250&coliid=IFDJ8A20FMB8F#customerReviews Seem's like a pretty solid lock. The other issue i have is storage, my FZ1 doesnt have enough storage for much anything else besides the PCIII and tool kit in the tail section. Any serious input is highly apprecieated.

Possible small group ride to Hocking Hills from the Columbus Ohio area Saturday 4/18 No chance of rain - temp mid 60s We would leave Columbus around 12 or 1p, make one stop for gas on the way &/or also for a break if anyone needs it stops: Old man's Cave, Rock House & so on. 4p-5p depart back to Columbus area. Nothing is set in stone yet this post is to merely see whom all would be interested, thus far there are only 3 confirmed riders going. Questions, comments or concerns, please comment below. Thanks.

I ended up buying a pair used on Craigslist, $150 for both, the right speaker on the one wasn't working sometimes, cleaned the contacts on the unit, no issues since. Highly agreed well worth every penny!!

Lettuce Discuss - HUD for Motorcycle Helmet
silentcropduster replied to silentcropduster's topic in Reviews
I personally wouldnt buy this bec I cannot afford it, but I do think it's a novel idea to the right person. It would be really cool if it could be incorporated with some sort of blind spot monitoring system, or if it could detect a car approaching u at a high rate of speed from behind when stopped etc. -

Less distractions provide for a much safer and pure riding experience. You as the rider, you only see what is most important, how fast you are going and your next turn. Directions are also displayed in an intuitive way. When a turn is approaching the direction is displayed. A countdown alternates with the direction indicating how long until its time to make the turn.
