  1. I went online to register and apparently they cut off online registration Friday at 12. I tried to call in and got no answer. They have changed their website around a lot and I can't tell if Monday the 21st is full or not. Is there anything on the web that lets you know? I would hate to get packed up and make the trip to turn around at the gate.
  2. 250-600-750-1000-1400...the best rider on a sport bike will be getting on the track and getting some laps in to really experience what these bikes can do as well as make you better on the street. I have a 750 with factory suspension. It's fast enough but doesn't allow me to rely on drag racing to get ahead lap after lap. I've been tracking for 3-4 years now and it's still faster than me. Stay safe pushing it like that on the street. Like what you ride and ride what you like.
  3. I called a locksmith and they said they can cut em up for me. Thank you!!!!!!
  4. I lost one of the Keys to my M109R last summer and only have one key for my track bike. I ordered some blanks online but I have no idea where to get them cut. Called the Iron Pony and Ask. Both said no deal. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!
  5. Sweet. That's what I was leaning towards but now I'm good to go.
  6. Cleaned fuel filter. It wasn't really dirty at all. Then I went to change the plugs and have a dumb question. The old ones that came out had a threaded top and the new ones have a fitting on the top. I pulled two old plugs and both had threaded tops only. Are they supposed to be threaded or did something come loose and get stuck in the plug boot? I took the threaded old plugs and tried to screw them back into the boot to see if there was something in there I could snag and drag out to no avail. I just want to check before I slap it all back together. Thanks!
  7. If my plugs and filter don't fix it I'll head to this DTM gentleman. Where is this mystical dyno man that everybody speaks about. I've never heard a bad thing about him so might as well try it. I ran a 1:45.94 with the bike falling on its nose out of every turn. It'll be worth the dough to see what I can do when it's on point!
  8. Great info! I don't think I got a bad tune because the bike ran well after and now a problem pops up in a different spot. I just replaced the battery last track day so it should be good to go. I'll clean the filter and I'm going to swap the plugs for starters. Then try it out. If it's still there I'll disconnect the PCIII and see how it goes. You guys are the cars meow!
  9. Her is the rundown. Got my track bike with 3300 miles and bone stock but it had a slip on. It had a flat spot about 7500-8500 rpm range. It wasn't a miss, but more of a bog. I bought a PCIII and had it dyno tuned at Pegrams. The guy said the III only works the lower injectors and doesn't help with the top end rpm range. He tunes it the best he could and it has done okay so far. The last few track days a miss, not a bog, has been developing at 10,500 rpm. It was getting bad Monday. It was fine up to that range and then after maybe 11500 it took off like a scalded dog to the redline. I run pump fuel 93 octane and I haven't changed the plugs. It has around 6000 miles on it now. I threw a gallon of 100 octane in there to see what it did just for the hell of it and it got horrible. I was launching out of corners past people and losing the pass because it was spitting so bad. I'm going to clean the fuel filter in the pump and I was thinking about other things that may cause this. My first idea was to get a new fuel management system that auto tunes all 8 injectors but that's gonna be 5 bills and I want to troubleshoot before I drop the coin. Any suggestions on what to do or where to start?
  10. I went to HF and scored a trailer today. I was thinking if I wadded my bike up how in the hell would I be able to load it and that sealed the deal. BDBGoalie, did you put tie down anchors in your plywood decking or use the trailer itself?
  11. I had thought about a harbor freight trailer and a hitch for my Buick but storing that thing could be an issue. I've seen some big 3 panel ramps that are long and say they work for lifted tucks. Hey are about $400 bucks though.
  12. I'm going to be getting my truck back soon and it will be used to transport my track bike and gear. It is a 1980 Chevy long bed with 35's and a 6 inch lift. I am assuming the height of the bed will cause some challenges for conventional ramps. I'm looking for a way to load and unload solo too. Does anybody have any tips, tricks, custom ramp ideas, etc that would make this am easy job for me?
  13. I did my front forks last year. Springs for my fat behind, seals, fluid, etc. I lost my sheet where I had all of my adjustments listed pre fork rebuild. As of now I have just over 3.5 turns from full in to full out on rebound adjustment. I think before I redid everything it had a wider range of adjustment, like 4 turns or over. 1. Does anybody know what the stock forks had for an adjustment range on rebound? 2. If the range was more before I messed with it would having only 3.5 turns be an issue? I just want to make sure I didn't jack anything up. I may have spun a lock but down too far or done something to remove the range of adjustability.
