The decision has been made and cash removed from the safe. Making a short road trip after work today

Isn't every trip you make a short road trip??  😁

Just kidding, congrats on your new bike.

Should I borrow the Tesla instead so you can ride around in the back while others drive it?

Personally, I'd rather see that new bike of yours.  Although chauffeuring Derek around again in the Tesla would be fun too...

yea I was browsing through 2018 thread and it seems there were many more than the usual suspects who showed up.

By March when it starts to warm up I am thinking more folks will come out of winter blues and be game.

I'll be in NY the weekend that everyone will be there, maybe next year.

I and a group of 5 to 10 guys from Marietta and Parkersburg will be there early then leaving sometime around 2. We’ll be the grey bearded bow legged guys drooling over the Ducati girls. Wait, that’s 9 of every 10 guys at the show. We’ll be stopping for early dinner at the Brown Derby on Bagley st. Y’all are welcome to join us if that time is convenient for you.

    Chris

Sorry to disappoint you but Ducati won't be there...

I'll be there with friends but we're grabbing lunch first then heading to the show.

Got my 40L top case today for the Z. Much, much better than the 55L that I took off the Connie to try. Still a tad big looking but the usable space is about perfect. Best part is both bikes and boxes take the same mount so I can use either box on either bike. So I can now carry my lunch to work, run errands and have a place to stow my helmet and gloves when I get there.

i plan to go out to a OMRL or whatever small bike event next time it's not too far (pitt or where-ever else is not too far).   that said, in the future, let's keep the "big bike" not-compensating-for-anything track crack whore talk in the big bike track threads and the little bitty bike inferiority complex moaning in the little bike track talk threads.  that should keep everyone from being all weepy maybe.

Why is everyone so butt hurt?  I'm pretty it was intended to include new people bc it's seriously a good time.  I know guys think size matters when it comes to bikes among other things, but really it's just all about having fun.  Who doesn't want to have fun?  It goes back to that whole "don't knock it if you haven't tried it" theory...

Talk about derailing a see you at the track thread, huh?  :D

  7. Purchased new to me SW Motech Blaze saddlebags from eBay and saved a ton of money.  Can't wait to get them installed.

My poor bike needs some love, I have yet to do the annual oil change & she hasn't been washed since before I rode to the Gap...  :(  She's gonna have to wait though, Motoamerica is this weekend!!!  :D

Kevin was getting familiar with the antiquated OMRL machine.   It's a little different than his RSV4.

All I can say is that at least he was out there giving it a go... unlike some people...

Someone tried to get me to wear your Bilt suit once you put on the A* one so I could get out on the track during practice...    #schweatysuit

@kbrok was lapped traffic during practice and didn't know I was coming up fast on the corner before and I got nudged into the grass.  All in good fun, but I had to show my displeasure.

I'm so glad I got lucky and caught this on camera.  :D

Jacob would like to thank his sponsor, Kenda Tires.

Sticky where it matters, slippery where it counts. Kenda Tires.

But yes, a 2-stroke 85 was running the kenda race compound tires and they seemed sticky as hell. If they do end up making some 110/16's I will make the switch.

Someone said that was a 65, not an 85 - does anyone know for sure what it was?  I have to go back to see if I have any photos of it, it was one of my favorites.  That little bike was wicked fast.

Great day, everyone.  Thanks for taking pics and hanging out, Tracy.  The racing was good, lots of good battles and the banked curve was tons of fun.  Next race is at Circleville this Saturday.

I had a blast.  I have more pics, but I'm working on getting them into a flickr acct right now.  I'll let you guys know where to find them when they're ready.

I really wish I had my gear because it would have been so fun to run some laps during practice.  I might have to invest in my own bike in the near future...
