  1. Unless its modifying the lights, the exhaust or speeding!!!!
  2. yeah, the old dude rocks. Drove to columbius 6 weeks ago to see Cave Singers- opening act "bleeding rainbow"...arguably, the worse band I've ever seen. And I saw Triumph in the 80's.
  3. Crap, I was looking at the side bar on the link again and noticed this http://www.newarkadvocate.com/article/20130524/NEWS01/305240030/Newark-man-dies-solo-crash?odyssey=obinsite wth
  4. I'm going to the "Wilds" in Pa this weekend, was going to leave sunday night...I see my opening NOW...but crapall, laundry, work-gotta finish one job, make headway on another...least I got the yard done yesterday but I got squirrel, I see the opening and I just. want. to. bolt.
  5. Best radar link I've found. An icon of a sun, or a moon, or a cloud doesn't tell me crap. "40%" means...what.. animated, full national map, there are options. Used it for years to predict my own weather. At the bottom you can narrow it down to sections, or click the map and zoom in for more localized. http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php p.s. we're going to get pounded today.
  6. +1 The only grace it does seem (and no disrespect meant- I wasn't there and lots of sad family this week) it seems most if not all of these accidents could have been prevented, but just being not that much more cautious.
  7. in this economy.......I'd do it for 70K a year. I've done a long commute, no where near 100 miles and it was exciting at first then fun then...ok... then a hassle then a tedious mind numbing thing to be endured-add storms both summer and winter, accidents two hours a day, sitting in a whatever? ten hours a week? 40 hours a month? but in this economy, you got bills to pay, mouths to feed aint nothing in the world for free, there aint no rest for the wicked. ..
  8. Holy crap......thats the same as your first girl friend is a porn star. Well.....he shoulda, woulda, coulda done a million things different.
  9. I see a pattern. The Entitlement Culture in all its glory.
  10. The SO needs a helmet up grade, we'll take a look
  11. sorry to hear about the noise, I got the RF-1100 last fall and love it. I'd guess the quietest helmet I've had. crazy light too. Uncomfortable? yikes. Mine is like a giant armored vagina, I love it! whats the price point? were they attempting to compete with lower shelf items? *(always the ruin of a good company)
  12. I'm too pretty not to atgatt myself up. Feel bad for the kid, sure, but its no way the OP's fault...we're all responsible for our own actions. Every time I go out, ..I see someone in shorts, in sandals, t-shirt, no helmet and "glasses" that look cool, but NO way will stay on the brain dome if you turn your head sideways at 30mph. Thats bad enough, but to see some cute chic in shorts, tank top and no helmet...*shudder* why take someone else along on your skid fest. sheeeut. Not always harley guys, but dang.. I get its tempting to take the bike to the beach ready to swim, but What was the bike to begin with?
  13. Without side seals you're just blowing air.
  14. Negligence is just that. whether you just got your licence or driving for 40 years. No one likely intends to fuck up on an epic level. Somewhere, somehow, someone failed to impress on that kid the seriousness of it all. Hard to feel sorrow for a kid who has been driving for two days, the drunk who figured on making it home, the 80 year old who really should have stopped driving when Carter was president...Negligence. There is no way, no how, that kid didn't know texting was wrong (forget legal, PSA's and schools preach about it) as to not increasing the penalties....in the late 70s I got pulled over, drunk, and had a bag in my glove box...cop asked how far I had to go. poured the weed out on the pavement and sent me on my way. I was hammered. Drunk driving wasn't really looked on socially as being so evil. NOW? think how many lives would have been saved/money etc etc if the level was .08 back in 1970? texting and driving KILLS more teens than drinking and driving. (add mayhem, accidents, and non-fatal) its time to treat texting with the same penalties as if you were drunk and driving.
  15. http://www.zxforums.com/forums/buy-sell-trade/42245-07-zx14-motor-kit-sale.html he's a member there it seems, or was ^ ask how much the mechanic wants to bet?
  16. I went on a facebook rage two years ago about texting- all those whiners about guns, and drugs, cigarettes and booze, when texting is making more young folks assume room temp, along with the collateral stupid damage than all the rest of the stuff. All I got, was accusations of being an extremist... Maybe a nationwide copycat serial killer taking out folks while they drove and texted? Probably only have to shoot...what, maybe 40-50 before no one would tex....ok...got to be a better way. around 1/4 of all accidents involve a phone when interviewed after accident- I bet thats like asking if someone jerks off or cheats on taxes however. almost 80% of young adults surveyed say THEY can "safely text while driving" (its others that cant) unfuckingbeleevable more than half surveyed say its "easy to text while driving" the "trick is not to do long texts" yeah...as to rigging a car...nice idea, but not sure how to implement...I see kids in the 6th grade with texting phones...its entrenched cultural by the time they're 16 edit: yes, apple probably has the minions following to figure out someway to make the phone stop texting. appleheads are like sheep LOL, they will do, as they are told! Brilliant!
  17. http://www.supremecourt.ohio.gov/rod/docs/pdf/2/2011/2011-ohio-3862.pdf fun family
  18. I'd be up for two, maybe 3 maybe 4, as long as we know the percentages, and final destination of the collected funds verifiable. Oh hell yes, charity runs work.
