    Picking mine up this spring/summer in place of my 2000 Jeep Cherokee I will agree that Fits are very nice for what you pay.

    Have you had the ignition control module checked while heatsoaked? When they start breaking down, heat can really mess up their operation. It may not be evident in a quick test. You need to get it warm (remember underhood driving temp) and have it tested.

    Great read. This needs to happen to every POS that scams someone on a forum. After word gets out, the scammers will think twice about screwing with people on forums

    No sorry. I just remembered a post that I saw a few years back on JeepForums of an abandoned AMC dealership. Has anyone seen the pics from that? There is an entire car lot abandoned somewhere with a whole collection of AMCs that have never even been titled. It looks like time just froze.

    I will agree that it sounds like the water pump blades are done. Had this happen to my first car. Good luck.

    9t1GVR4 is right about the 31s and 4x4. As for 2WD, I say put some wider 30s on it, a rear lunchbox, a good winch and block(*cough*WARN*cough*), and call it a day. You will be surprised how much you can do with that. ...............until you grenade the D35
