  3. I cringe every time I hear of another turbo FC/FD losing its rotary. I know they are hard to maintain, but I really like rotarys. Oh well...its your car man.

  5. I have never had a problem yet with a used car lot. The sales people are usually completely uneducated(no surprise), but the service has always been decent.
  6. I have seen 3 or 4 of them snap cranks. Odd.
  7. My ex-GF just had her Lancer done at Tint America this past fall and the bill came to $160 for all windows. Looks good too.
  8. That will cost you a fortune to have the stealership do that work. Go to a reputable smaller exhaust shop to have that all done. It will be much cheaper. That's my 47 cents.
  9. 1) Maybe a possible guage cluster issue? Do those cars have guages that all show "zero" when the car is off? If not, then maybe the fuel level float is stuck or the sender is bad. 2) Have you had the rotors changed? It could also be a tie-rod end or something else front end chassis related. Have a front end inspection done on it.
  10. Good luck with it. Remember, it is a 4.0 so it is almost as documented as a frickin DSM. There is a wealth of information on the web about it. NAXJA.org is an awesome place to get advice for an XJ if you need.

  13. I guess he had a very faint rattling noise or something that he could never figure out and neither could the dealership. The noise stopped after he started premixing and he says it runs much smoother. I don't know if it is psychological or not, but he said that many people on the RX-8 forums are doing it too. I know it may not be required, but it certainly does not hurt. It is a rotary.
  14. Valvespring binding(recent cam change)? Rebuilt engine with shaved head and/or block? Worn cam? Torque too tight on rocker arm?
  15. While I agree that "Master Of Puppets" is Metallica's best, I will say in defense of "...AJFA" that the bass is there. The bass tracks were not mixed well and were finalized at a low volume. Back on topic of the greatest album of all time...I would never be able to pick one. I like every single genre of music since the middle ages(~450A.D.-Present). I cannot pick just one

  17. I would do a full tune-up on it. If that does not fix your problem then get it put on a diagnostic and see if anything looks bad. Dont play guesswork when fixing it. You will save a ton of money by just getting the scan done and targeting the exact problem. You are right at that mileage where I often see oxygen sensors starting to fail, EGR will start to have flow issues, and full tune-ups(not just plugs and wires) need to be done. Good luck.

  20. +1 here. Mine wont just preferably be a Jeep, it will be a Jeep. I will always own a SWB Jeep. I am content with my YJ for now and probably will be for years to come. I may "upgrade" to a TJ someday though.
  21. I have a single stage 60Gal 7HP (oiled) and I love it. I never need to wait on it. A buddy of mine just bought a portable Dewalt that has 200PSI working pressure. It's nice as hell.
