With the 405QM and my friends G&L it's amazing...especially since I paid $200 for the VX215 new and the folks got me the head for Christmas a few years back. Can't beat that.

 

Impressive collection. A good acoustic is something else I want to add but I think I will go stand up next. I just have the Ibanez and an '86 P-Bass that was bought new and played all over the country by my mom.

 

I love both of my basses though. Wouldn't trade the Fender for anything. The Ib for $200 and $200 in my rig? Can't beat the tone for $400.

You can't beat a cheap mini rig that just sounds good. To this day, one of the best sounding rigs I have ever heard is an SWR Workingman combo, and it was just a little 4x10. A lot of it was the fingers playing the bass, though. A good musician can make nearly anything sound good.

I have a nice acoustic now, but I recently played a Martin acoustic that I nearly melted with because it felt so perfect. I think I will stick with the Takamine for the rest of this year, and pick up the Martin next year.

Lastly, you're right. He has been one of my main inspirations for many years. Not so much the playing style (hard for me to mimic), but rather his contribution to the community. If you have never had a chance to read the book about him written by Bill Milkowski, then I HIGHLY recommend it.

That is a Peavey Cirrus 4 NT in claro walnut. Plays like buttah!

All Hartke, eh? How's that setup sound? I've never played through a Hartke head before.

SWR workingman 400 and a 2X10 custom Avatar cabinet. I will eventually add a 2X15 or 4X12 but what I have now is more than enough for playing in church;)

Very good little rig. I have a soft spot for SWR. You can really dial a super funky tone out of one, especially with that Avatar. Next time I come to C&C and you're there, we'll have to chat.

Not much changed, but I am yet to try the GPS. I will be very happy if it actually works now.

I'm not a fan of all font in the top bar being white.

Love my Note 3 but don't go with AT&T. They have some GPS related issues and if they don't get it resolved soon I'm moving to Verizon.

You're having issues too? Is this being discussed anywhere online? I have never had GPS issues until this phone.
