My work rules:
- 8 hours for them. 16 hours for me.
- Do not do more work on another person's machine than that person normally does.
- Being short of help is not my issue. I'm not responsible for scheduling and staffing.
- If you want me to do two people's jobs, it requires two people's paychecks.
- In order for me to do this extra work, what is it that you do not want me to do so that I have time to do that?
- There is absolutely nothing you can do or say to make your supervisor any smarter.
- If you bring attention to a problem, you will be the one assigned to fix it.
- You get two breaks and a lunch. Don't cheat yourself out of them.
- I do not have the authority to make decisions that screw things up. Management gets paid well to do that.
- If the person who called for maintenance is not present when maintenance shows up, we will come back when they come back.
- Once you have put the machine in position to complete the task and the operator is not present to run the machine, starting the machine for them will only insure they will never come out of the break room.

All of the things that happen have have been happening
since the beginning of time. It is just covered more with
the internet and the sensationalism of todays media.
It didn't happen to this extent. Things of this
nature were very rare. The world is becoming
a more dangerous place, and it will get even
worse. You haven't seen anything yet.

If you are not sending your gauge
off to the Bureau of Standards,
how do you know it is off, or the
ones you are comparing it to is
correct? Do the ones closest to
the same reading win the prize?

Very cool. Very cool.
Would have liked to see a higher flight
putting it into the middle of the pond.

The Ohio Department of Insurance would maybe
like to hear about this. They license the agents.
Consumer Hotline: 1-800-686-1526
Fraud Hotline: 1-800-686-1527
If they say they want to destroy the gear, do it
for them before you turn it over.

I'm happy to see three parallel twins on the "fastest" list.
That gives me hope.
And 570 hp? What in the frigging frig would you do with
that, that didn't involve a straight line, or maybe circling
the globe? Talk about getting your Iron Butt certificate.
Can you say 2000 miles in 24 hours?

Maybe it's time to chuck it all
and go live in the woods.

The lock was never cut. Right there is the same one
that has always been on there. (scuffed up and rusted
with a little help from a file and being left in water, and
paid for with cash). I've had no break-in. Nothing is
missing.
If there is a record of ammo purchase, I sold it. I needed
the money for a bike farkle.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Some of that looks interesting. I try to stay
away from the touristy areas, Conkle's Hollow,
Cedar Falls, Ash Cave. Too many Rangers
and sight seers for me, unless I'm in tourist
mode. You have to really watch the traffic
around there.

And now, 80 is the new 60.

Lol even 25.... It's crazy how being out in the open not strapped in bombards your senses and how quickly we get used to it.
Sent from my iPhone. And now, 80 mph is the new 60.

If your swingarm can allow enough space to bump
the rear to a 140 series, the options definitely broaden.
With a Katana rim and a GSXR 600 brake torque arm
a 160 can fit. But, I don't want to go that route since
it's a learner bike, and I don't want to sacrifice handling
with a wider tire. Not that I would have the skills to
notice. It's not a sport bike but I want to ride it like one
to the best of my ability when I'm on the fun roads.
Unless someone knows something more than what's
been posted so far, I think the Avon will be my choice.
I'll ride to work and have the Pony put them on tomorrow.

Well, I checked out all tires that were suggested here.
Pirelli Angel ST and GT, plus Diablo Rosso II and Sport Demon.
Angels do not come in my size. They only stock a Diablo front
and a Rosso rear.
Michelin Pilot Road 4, 3, &2's, same story. Pilot Street, and Power,
same deal.
Here's what they do have, that they suggested to me.
Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 Front: $104.99 Rear: $107.99
Dunlop GT-501G Front: $89.99 Rear: $132.99
Avon / AM26 Roadrider Front: $86.99 Rear: $94.99
The Bridgestones are closest to stock. I'm leaning towards the
Avon.
Feedback from you fine folks?

Sounds like a good day to just go back to bed.
Sorry to hear it.

I can almost guarantee you're a better cook than me.
I like to cook, but I also like to have a fire extinguisher
in the kitchen while I do it
It seems as though you are mistaking your smoke alarm for a timer.

I felt like I was flying, at 45 mph, when I first started riding.

That was just plain stupid.

Black Beach Week,
Black Bike Week,
Black Bikers Week
Black Fill-in-the-Blank Week
Atlantic Beach BikeFest
It's all the same, listed as a major African American motorcycle rally
originally called the Atlantic Beach Memorial Day BikeFest.
I had to look at photos to be sure it wasn't for the purpose of celebrating
black motorcycles. One website mentioned all were welcome.
Does anyone have a hankerin' for some chittlin's and greens?

How long would it take to get lynched from
the mere suggestion of a white bike week?
CNN would be all over that.

Iron Pony is close to the path I take home from work,
so I find myself stopping in there about once a month,
if not to purchase, just for the pleasure of browsing and
looking at bikes I've only read about and seen pictures
of. I think the store itself is a rider's fantasy land. No
need to go many other places to check items off of
your Christmas wish list.
Marc Iafolla and Josh Lynn are always helpful whenever
I'm trying on bikes for size. They take their time to talk
about what may be a good match for your needs,
dreams, and fantasies. These guys are a big part of what
makes going there a pleasant experience.
The parts counter. I never feel rushed there. They've
always been more than helpful and full of great advice.
Even the keeper of the gate at the security desk has been
pleasant. I'm just happy I don't have to drive half way
across the state to get there. It's a one stop shop for me.
For icing on the cake, Schmidt's Sausage Hous had a
truck outside the door one day last week. So, I was even
able to have my dinner there after browsing through the
store. You can't beat that.

I want to do these things. I have to
get some camping gear and plan
way ahead for it.

So, somebody tell me what the solution to this was.

...the two ridges that have been created
are two inches apart. This is on a 130 tire.
If it was a 130/70 R17, we could slap it on the rear of my bike
so I could go down to Hocking Hills and burn those ridges back
down into the proper tire profile, for you. I would return it all
better, minus about 250 miles of life, and maybe a little "burnt"
odor.

It's amazing what kind of problems a simple computer reboot will solve.
Management has their "favorites". Those chosen few will fail to share
passwords that are needed when computers are rebooted. When the
"system" goes down and a reboot is needed, it's always at 2:30 am,
and no one in house has the needed passwords.
The boneheads are supervisors, for not insuring changed passwords
are shared with those who need them at a moment's notice.
