  1. Pressure tester and coolant dye are my top choices. 1. Not always. Are they timing belt driven on this car and under the cover? 2. Usually 3. Usually
  2. Dad just bought one for Mom. It has the Super Track package with "Heavy Duty Brakes". It also has 3 season tires. (Not fun with the snow in Cleveland.) Does anyone know the smallest diameter wheel that will fit on these? I am wondering if the Heavy Duty Brakes require more clearance. The Se comes with 17" wheels, the R/T comes with 18" and the Road and Track goes to 20". I would like to be able to throw a set of 17" steelies and snow tires on it.
  3. 2323.11 Columbus Code Bans anything designed to hold more than 20 rounds. (loaded or not) Ohio law also bans any weapon that has been designed or adapted to fire 31 rounds without reloading (any gun with a magazine that will hold 30 rounds whether loaded or not. They are considered an automatic weapon and banned as such. 2923.11 (E) “Automatic firearm” means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger. “Automatic firearm” also means any semi-automatic firearm designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty-one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 caliber short, long, or long-rifle cartridges.
  4. I guess I am the minority here. Did the guy attempt to flee? Was the crime stopped long before he continued to beat his ass? How many of you know that POWs were used as slave labor? What about the fact that many of those POWs were leased out as cheap labor to Japanese companies? Or that Mitsubishi was one of those companies? Or that POWs watched their fellow POWs beheaded for not working hard enough? Do I think that gives the vet the right? No. Do I think the guy took it to far? Yes. If he sucker punched the guy while he was painting...okay. If he tackled him and broke a leg as he was trying to flee...okay. however, he beat him to the point that he was able to place the guys leg in the door and slam it breaking the leg. If you have any ounce of fight in you. you are not going to be held in that position while someone breaks your leg. The guy was obviously no threat at that point. It could easily have been the vets father that was on of those beheaded POWs. He snapped and needed stopped. He didn't need to the point that he may have a permanent disability. (And yes a broken leg could result in trouble walking for the rest of his like so it is a permanent disability.)
  5. No it is at a park in Marysville.

    CCW law...?

It would allow you to carry in any state that has a CCW permit. (No to Illinois and DC) You would have to follow that states laws regarding forbidden zones.
  7. 2000 Acura Integra Type R Phoenix Yellow ~141,000 I have owned this car since 34,000 miles. The majority of the miles on this car are highway. It has been up to Lake Superior and down to Kentucky. Over to Illinois and back to West Virginia. I daily drive this car year round. I have no issue jumping in it for a long distance trip or to the corner store. All the work with the exception of tuning was done by myself. I am an ASE Master Certified Technician. The car runs low 13's high 12's in the quarter. Top speed is approx. 150 mph. Any questions, please feel free to contact me. 8. Thought this was fitting http://vimeo.com/20247765
  9. I am up for a impromptu meet tonight or tomorrow at the shop.
  10. I think the corvette had some "performance" parts just as a heads up. My 2003 S10 had that tranny and I seem to remember they offered a servo and a couple other parts to "soup" it up and they were just corvette parts instead of base model stuff.
  11. 2 different sounds good and I am in for $15-20 a meeting.
  12. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=CS-PT6&cf=gc Saw this tonight. Comes with a 5 cigar sampler, humidor, lighter and a cutter. I filled my humidor and picked up one of these as an overflow. The cigars were $50 by themselves so everything else was free. I have ordered from them once before with no problems.
  13. I would almost be more interested in one cigar per night then a 2fer. If I don't like it, I will probably not smoke the second. If I do like it, I may not smoke it any time soon because I am hoping to be at the next get together the next week.
  14. Going by your statements (plinking gun, recreational use, no time to shoot) and budget I would agree something like the P22 would be well suited. Being a .22 you may think it is little or a "squirt gun". My brother owns one and it is actually enjoyable to shoot. No one is going to be in awe and looking to your end of the range wondering what is going on however, you can run to the store, buy 500 rounds and shoot the day away for a few dollars. Go anything much bigger and the cost goes up quickly. If you later decide to go the ccw or home protection route, you still have something fun to go plinking with and can buy something that costs more for the defense aspect.
  15. Any chance of starting this weekend Bob? I need an excuse to go up there
  16. Fuses are always a good thing. No matter what there is always a "fuse". If you don't put one in, the next weakest point is your fuse. We had a tech at work not put a fuse in. He then used a wire that was just big enough for the current load. The driver applied the brakes triggering the current. At that point all of the insulation melted off the wire and began glowing bright orange. This caught things on fire. His wire was his fuse. Not a good idea.
  17. I have been to this cigar shop a fair amount recently. The owners are real great and the selection is awesome. There is something for everyone. The wife even enjoys coming up and hanging out. They have a poker table, 2 TVs, a fridge that sells non-alcoholic drinks, a coffee machine and plenty of seating. The guys go out of there way to help you and teach you anything cigar related you could ever want to know. I am definitely in. Fri or Sat works best for me. Just let me know when and I will be there.
  18. So maybe they don't frag the motor. Let's say I'd rather bullshit with my buddy in the back room so I just slap a filter on it and don't change the oil or even worse just wipe the filter off because it is the same brand we use.Your oil is the same oil from 5 oil changes ago and slowly beats down your engine and wears it out. I just bump the heads on the alignment machine instead of aligning the car. Your tires wear out sooner. I strip the pan putting the plug back in and you are on a trip or not at the same place you use every time (because you go wherever is cheapest, closest, etc) and the next place doesn't replace your pan for free. I don't rotate your tires as requested. Your tires get cupped and need replaced. I don't check the brakes. Your pads wear out halfway to Florida and you end up grinding into the rotors and destroying them preventing you from doing a pad slap or turning the rotors. This is just the tip of the iceberg of things I have seen working in the field for only a few years.
  19. Be careful with stun guns. I am not sure how this plays across the state but, that came from nonlethaldefense.com
  20. My guess everything is out of code since nothing has been zoned or approved. Bare minimum it needs to be at a point where everything can be inspected. No interior walls would be the first thing. I assume they would want to be able to see EVERY electrical connection and path it took, every plumbing connection and it's path. Gets bad if they want to inspect things like foundation or plumbing/electrical that goes through a concrete floor etc. It is not going to be cheap.
  21. Maybe try the Duck Tape first and then shave the exposed areas to the desired shade (#1 blade?) and peel the tape resulting in slight stripes.
  22. I would assume it is a 4 link. His 90's mustang is a 10.5 outlaw car. Do they run 4 link for that? I don't pay enough attention to the pros or classes. I thought this was just about the power out of the motor.
