  1. Really? What's awesome. That'd be nice... One day, hopefully... Hmmm, I'll have to check that out. Not sure why their site says 1144.
  2. I was somewhat looking into them as a sport touring option as they can be had relatively cheap, but from what I've seen, it looks like the riding position is more aggressive than I'd want in a sport tourer. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I think it's more aggressive than my 919 even, which after ~200-250 miles in a day can start to get a bit uncomfortable to me. I'm likely going to go with a 2006+ FJR1300 at some point.
  3. Thanks, but I really don't have the know-how, or space to do that at this stage, heh.

    Xbox One.....

Cheaper's relative, and depends on the length of time you're measuring, how many games you purchase and how often, etc. The initial investment in PC hardware costs a lot more, however games, especially when Steam runs their sales are FAR cheaper than console games. Older console games are typically ~$30-40, new $60, and $20 if they're ancient. When steam runs sales, the vast majority of the games in their catalog cost between $5-20. Now, if you use your PC for video editing, any 3D work, photo editing, etc you've already made the hardware investment. So, console = hardware cheaper, but you'll likely be paying more for games, DLC, and subscription services to play online.

    Xbox One.....

Did this a long time ago when the PS3 and 360 started showing their age (around 2009). I've barely touched a console since. I may get the new consoles if their exclusives interest me enough, but overall, PC's the better platform.
  6. Just got back. Was an ok ride on 541 and 83 except those pesky 4 wheeled things.
  7. I'm gonna make some food here, then hop on the bike while the rain's holding out for the next few hours. Probably up to around Coshocton, then Wooster and back unless others have a route they'd rather take that isn't going than ~4 hours round trip.
  8. If the rain clears up later in the day, I may end up riding, but probably not a very long one (maybe 541 to Coshocton and up 83 to Wooster then back), if anyone from Columbus/Central wants to meet up, let me know.
  9. I was about to get ready to leave, opened the door and it's already raining where I'm from... I might bail on this one. Rain's kinda scattered looking, but roads are going to be wet either way.
  10. Yep, planning to be in Bolivar ~9:00 - 9:15 at DQ
  11. You're free to break off the group when needed, but I'm expecting since we're meeting in NE and riding SE roads it'll probably be at least ~3-4 hours after we leave Bolivar til we're done in SE Ohio, so for me the ride to Bolivar = 2 hours + 3-4 of riding after meetup + another 2 back home means ~8 hours of riding... That might be a little tough for me, lol.
  12. Ughh... really? I hardly saw any last weekend around 374, 180, etc.
  13. Right now, I have a pair of Fieldsheer Mercury 2 pants, a leather Xtreme Element jacket with removable CE armor for colder weather, and Joe Rocket Mesh with removable CE armor for warm weather. Also Tourmaster Response 2 boots for more casual riding or rain, Gaerne GMX boots for dry weather and more aggressive riding. Gloves: Alpinestars SPS (2008 version), and Drystars for rain/cold. Hopefully I'll be getting a full leather suit for doing a track day this season. Oh... and Bell RS-1 helmet.
  14. Bah... missed this (completely forgot about it). Last Saturday I actually ended up riding alone around Hocking Hills.
  15. So, I just looked up the meet location, looks to be about 2 hours northeast of me (nothern columbus). If the route's going to be SE Ohio, any chance of a 2nd meetup location around Lancaster/Logan for those of us not in NE Ohio? If not, I'll just plan on hitting the road early around 6:45-7:00 or so... If anyone else around Columbus is interested, we could meet up at Iron Pony or something before heading Northeast to meet the rest in Bolivar.
  16. Lol, must have missed that in the first post... Douche. So meet there 9am-ish???
  17. So, what's the plan Monday? Time and location for meeting up?
  18. This is true... Last year on memorial day I got pulled over when I was on my bike... The funny thing is, I was definitely not speeding, I was behind a bunch of traffic on the road the cop said I was speeding on which were never doing anymore than 5mph over. I asked him what he clocked me at and he said, "I didn't clock you, it was just visual." to why I replied "I really don't think I was speeding", then he said "you were definitely movin'..." ... Needless to say they let me off with a "warning." They also acted like it was a big deal I had a CCW but wasn't carrying even though that's the first thing I told them after the asked for my license (one put his hand on his holster)... Some cops... They were probably expecting me to be drunk and used "speeding" as an excuse to pull me over. I guess I look like a trouble maker, apparently. I rode in Hocking last Saturday and I saw more or less no cops. 1 with it's sirens on traveling the opposite direction, then a fire chief SUV as well, but that was it all day.
  19. lol. It appears Time Warner may only carry it on digital cable? I just have their standard cable and when I go to channel 1144 (listed as Velocity for Columbus here: http://tvlistings.timewarnercable.com/digitalcable/findTvListings/viewChannelLineUp/?headendId=OH34532X) it just flips me back to my previous channel. I was expecting it to say something like "This is a premium channel, please call ###-###-#### for ordering information).
  20. Can you tell me what your sig is from? (movie, show????)
  21. Who provides Velocity? I have Time Warner cable. Hopefully I can get it through them...
  22. Contour +2 goes on left side of helmet. Hero 3 Black goes either on the fork mount, adhesive mount on the flyscreen, or tank suction cup mount. That'd be pretty nice to have it charge while riding... I do have a couple battery banks I could probably use to charge it with. You guys have USB rigs connected to your battery?

    Racetech

I ordered my springs from them for F4i shocks I put on my 919. I got the order ready to go online, then called and placed the order and it was pretty quick, placed the order Monday and received it on my door Friday. You can always call them instead of waiting for them to call you to expidite the order. Their online system isn't really up to everyone elses standards.
  24. Looks like I should be able to ride... No work OR class on Monday
  25. Nope, the link was being finicky after I first posted it, said deleted for some reason when you click the link from here, but if you copy and paste into your browser, it worked. Now it looks like it's really gone, someone probably picked it up... I'm seeing a few others for ~$500-800 more that are probably a better purchase.
