+1. I ride through there at least once a year. I leave CBUS in the morning, and I am riding past Deals Gap a little after lunch (depending upon who is with me).
I bought a pair off of Craigslist. They were unused. Guy received them for a Christmas gift, but he needed money to pay taxes. They are the best motorcycle investment that I have ever made.
I wish Ohio State wouldn't have choked in that game. Imagine what they could have done with a good coach. We have not had a B1G coach of the year in decades. Someday we will have a worthy individual to lead us. GO BUCKS!
I have a Russell day long, and it is really comfortable. As Tim stayed above, Baldwin makes a really nice seat. Corbin and Sargents are also popular options. Another option is to modify your seat. A popular option is Spencers: www.greatdaytoride.com. Seats can be a contentious issue. What is comfortable for one person is not for someone else. Good luck!
If you are going in March, it may be wise to invest in some heated gloves (maybe even heated socks). Wearing the bulky winter suit is probably your best option. Getting cold on a long distance MC trip can not only be miserable, it can be very dangerous. Prolonged coldness while riding can make errors in judgment more common. A good windshield is also really beneficial on long trips. Also think about hydration. Although that won't be quite as critical in March, make sure to drink some water at every stop. There is definitely some good riding down there. Good luck with the trip.
I don't want to look too far into the future, but OSU could potentially have the 3 best quarterbacks in the B1G next year. That doesn't include the 2 stud quarterback recruits coming in. This is a great time to be a Buckeye fan!
If you end up getting a sport touring bike, you can pretty much camp anywhere east of the Mississippi in a weekend. I am new to riding a dual sport. If a dirt event was planned in SEO, I would be interested. Sounds like fun.
I feel dumb for watching that video. I want my time back. However, I also want a society that values personal responsibility. Obviously, that won't be happening anytime soon. Next time, mom will have a gun safe.
Can we please add: Nancy Pelosi, John Beohner, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, and Barry Obama? Since it is Christmas, we can add all congressional Democrats & Republicans. Merry Christmas to America, let FREEDOM ring!
