  1. You may be able to do both. Let her learn on a 250. When she is ready, let her upgrade to your 600. Then you can upgrade using the $ from selling the 250 as a down payment. Fwiw, when my mom learned how to ride, she learned on a VLX600 cruiser. She ended up upgrading about a year later to a 750. The small displacement vtwin cruisers don't have a lot of power.
  2. There still are no additional ARC classes posted.
  3. This morning (around 10:30), I got frustrated and called the 800 number on the website to see what was the deal for registering for the ARC. The lady explained that all of the ARC courses must not be posted yet. She said that the demand for the ARC is not as great as the other classes. She said that they should be posted in the near future. I checked back at 4:30 and the only ARC classes available were in Hamilton, OH.
  4. That is far more entertaining than the Tour de France.
  5. Here is a photo from the beginning of last year. I replaced the passenger's back rest with a Givi trunk.
  6. You can't go wrong with guns and motorcycles. It sure beats sitting around and talking about your feelings.
  7. Has anyone taken the advanced rider course that could elaborate on is effectiveness? I tried to get into it last year, but there were no openings. I think I would like to take it, but I don't want to waste 9 hours.
  8. My name is Mike, and I'm new to this forum. I have been riding for nearly 20 years. I have ridden sport bikes and cruisers. My current ride is a Kawasaki Concours 14. I wish I would have gotten a sport-touring bike years ago. In the year since I got this bike, I have put nearly 9k miles on it. I look forward to using this website in the future. It seems like a great resource.
