  1. Makes sense, I didn't realize how much tweaking could be achived with the oiling system. I'm a little more interested in the plumbing but I'll have to see it in person. Pinned billet mains with a girdle sounds about as strong as it gets. Cool stuff.

Well the oiling system is a little over my head since all I've seen in action is the factory Vette systems, hopefully I'll get a chance to see it in person so you can give me a rundown on the advantages. Is the oil pan designed with the thought of strengthening the bottom end at all? How are the mains going to look in the engine? Billet? Girdle?
  6. If this is a car lot, even a small one, it is not uncommon for them to not have the title right away. However if this is just some person I'd be leary. You typically won't get a title right away if you buy a car at the dealership that I work at, it all has to be processed.
  7. We haven't had any issue with PlyCar here at the dealership, they bring us all our Callaways.

  9. I honestly couldn't tell you on my car, it was just street tuned. The same cam in my buddies car picked up about 40 horse. Cam package, gasket set, injectors, tune, and I'd do a fuel pump just for safety. Should get most cars over 370 wheel with bolt-ons.

  12. Sounds like you should be looking for a cam in the 22x duration range, .500-.560 lift, you may want to check out Thunder Racing's line of cams. I really liked my 224-112 cam when I had it, it used basic Comp 918 springs, and provided a nice bump across the RPM band.   14. Stuff like this was experimented with decades ago, honestly it just sounds like lots of hot air. There are reasons why this type shit doesn't catch on, like the fact that one correctly sized turbo or superchager would produce all the CFM an engine would ever need.

  16. Injectors brings up a good point, just about anything more then a mild cam will need some bigger fuel injectors.

  23. 24x duration or bigger, LSr cam lobes or any cam lobe that has a fast ramp rate. Just because it has under .650" lift doesn't mean those basic dual springs are going to control it very well. You actually go really aggressive and spring pressures and coil bind come into play, but I doubt the OP really wants to get this that far off topic, so just let it go bud.
  24. Fine, I'll give you $180 Comp 918s, but an aggressive cam would need more then PRD .650" lift dual springs, ever priced Comp 921s? or the newer 928s?
