  1. I haven't seen this posted sorry if I missed it. I'm going to be sitting at this show tomarrow for work with our Callaway Z06 and Camaro, its supposed to be a decent sized show. Anyone who would like to come hang out with me and check out some cars please come by. Sorry for the late warning but I just found out I would be going.
  2. Real nice to see you where the hell were you?
  3. Throttle by wire is a PCM control, so its tunable. I'd say yes EFIlive is worth it, but you should hang out with a few people who use them. I'm a little bias since its what I started with.
  4. oh the irony, like Anthony can't explain this I wish some more people would sign up, it's not like CR is going to screw people if it doesn't happen. I don't want to miss the last opportunity to run before winter and I can't beleive anyone else would.
  5. This is what I figured, but wasn't sure if it modded shift points or anything in the PCM. So like AJ is saying only if it affects the PCM, or ECM/TCM in newer cars, is the software available.
  6. There is some retarded company that will convert a Z06 to a targa, I just can't think of the name. Stupid none the less. Same with tinting the windsheild.
  7. Good intro, clean cars (not ricer shit), welcome.
  8. It would be EFIlive or HPTuners, Diablo and LS1 Edit are out dated and are limited on features. EFI and HP are really similar as I've used both. I'm really not sure how much if any you can change competitive driving mode, active handling, or HUD, but the rest can be modified fairly easily. Personally I'd recommend EFIlive because I like the layout and it was originally designed for the LS1 and Duramax so it has a few more features for those PCMs. HP was created to be a complete tuning software with more coverage, so it wasn't as focused on just the LS1 cars, but its a very complete "tuning" software ie engine mods.
  9. How can you tell from that picture? In all seriousness I can't, but it looks like the holes for the A/C are there.
  10. I put the LQ4 in my car and had to drill and tap 2 holes for the alt bracket. Everything else was there, LQ4/LQ9 is the same block, however I'm not sure the alternater holes are a problem on all years. My A/C bracket bolted right on.
  11. This, maybe an older deisel one. Or a 3/4 ton van, pull the car and people at the same time.
  12. bought my tickets this was my favorite movie as a kid, and the first one is the only one I didn't get to see in the theater. a big thanks to the OP, you don't know how cool I think this is.
