  1. I'd stick with like a 245/40/18, right size, cheapest, more selection, and easiest to get. However like Derek said you could go to a 295, but 275/35/18 would be a little more common.
  2. Well I take it the thing cranks, does the injectors have pulse? You stated that they had voltage, the PCM should pulse the ground. You can tee into the fuel sytem with the right fittings, because some of those don't have shrader valves. If it jumped time it'll likely sound funny when cranking, kind of a fast smooth spin, but the only real way to check it is to take the cover off. As old as that car is the sending unit in the tank could have broke, double check the simple stuff and find out what fuel pressure is.
  3. Sounds like a blower resistor and a clock spring inside the steering column would fix your problems. Replace the blower resistor yourself it's usually pretty easy and less then $50 (not positive on the Jeeps off the top of my head). The airbag/horn problem I'd leave to a professional, unless you just want the light out in the dash.
  4. Being a huge GM fan my opinion of the CTS-V is bias, but I'm in love with it's drivetrain.
  5. You like my tool do you, no homo.
  6. I don't have long hair, but I suppose the rustbucket S10 makes up for that part.
  7. I've even used a new pinion nut every time, hopefully the solid spacer, a bunch of loctite, and a little luck and this thing will hold together until I can do a rear end swap over the winter.
  8. If that's what you really want, because there are much better tires out there, but I doubt anyone is going to beat tirerack by very much, on Goodyears anyway. I know i can't, unless Derek knows something I don't.
  9. let me know fucker, I may head up around then.
  10. Worth another quote, funniest gif of the year!!!
  11. Okay well that sucks worse. Oil pump failures FTL!
  12. oh boy, 7am till whenever, hopefully i can bounce by 5.
  13. Working till 9 and back into work at 7 tomarow FTL, I'll try to find my way up there later tonight.
  14. He seems to be, I'm not minding it too much over here.
  15. I highly doubt that the bearings are actually worn, I just keep beating the pinion loose. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm going to try the solid pinion spacer and see if that helps. You know 30 -40 track passes and all I do is beat on the car when i drive it, I can't say as I'm shocked. BTW I appreciate the offer on the bearing, but the whole kit isn't that expensive.
  16. Yeah, well I'm getting used to these guys so we'll see. I'm currently scheduled on saturday, but they haven't made their mind up on a schedule.
  17. I am up front, I haven't been wrenching on cars for a living in about 9 months now. Just come by when I'm there.
  18. Oh well, don't really care. I wish all the cops would street race, and just arrest people who drive drunk.
  19. very funny Erik :asshole: I may bitch, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Can't brag about buying it.
  20. Wow, you always seem to amaze me and find things I've never even heard of. I thought I was a car guy, you sir teach me something every time I'm around you. While I do think it's on the cuter side of things, still I'd rock one. Then again I drive a Camaro so what the hell do I know.
  21. Let's race right now, I can keep putting mine back together. Now you on the other hand can't fix anything but a boost tube, that SRT4 makes you more of a plumber then a mechanic. :gtfo:
