Maybe I don't have this pictured very well, are we talking about an indoor display, how good is the lighting at said location? If you're dealing with an already decent lit room you'll have to overpower the existing light to even make it worthwhile.

What kind of pads did you buy? Did you turn or replace the rotors? Does the pedal feel normal? If there was a problem the pedal might feel funny, cheaper pads can do stupid shit like this, or old rotor surface. If the pedal feels good, I'd turn the rotors and scuff up the pads (not on the sidewalk use sandpaper).

Okay well thanks to Chad (GTPnLS1), I got an even trade for exactly what I wanted, even came with a cutout welded in. If you're curious you'll have to hear it, it's still loud just not "hear me from a mile away obnoxiously loud". I'm happy and Chad was really excited about having the loudmouth on his car.
