  6. Brand new Melling oil pump, new and still in box. I was going to use this in my engine build, but when I attempted to use this spaced out over a double roller timing chain it hit the front cover. Bought the SLP oil pump and it did the same thing, since I had that one I made it fit. Will work great with a single roller or LS2 timing chain, we put one of these in Starkmaster03's car. So I paid $139.99, I'll take $110.   8. All I know is that we are in a recession that no one wanted to admit in the beginning, and so called experts said would be over this year. GM is out of the stock market and officially bankrupt, so get used to the fact that things are fucked and who knows for how long. Thats my opinion.

  16. disabling the VATS sytem is as simple as splicing in the correct resistor, it's not too hard and would give you some more cheap shit to do. Of course you'll still have to unlock the column so could take that apart as well, and just convert the car to a couple switches and a button if you wanted.
  17. I'm not disagreeing with you, hence my first post. I agree completely, just making a point on WOT tuning the old school way. I know you have and will use this method. BTW, I'm glad you're enjoying your new paperweight, but I told you I'm keeping that piston.
  18. A CR track rental is cheaper and more fun then dyno time, last I checked road racing cars can go straight. :asshole:
  19. If not on a dyno then WOT should be at least done at the track where you can see increases in MPH as a result of HP.
  20. If you're going to be working on a load bearing dyno I'd go that way for sure, but I'd want to have a wideband on the car regardless.

  23. Gas is gas, it all comes out of the same pipeline. Now what additives get added after the fact vary alot from vendor to vendor. I stick with Sunoco 94 in the Camaro because it has been working for my toys for years without any problems. I could care less what gas goes into the dailys especially my carbed truck. To each his own, most places have been advertising their additives more and more, with all this new and improved shit I'm not impressed. Someone find some real independent lab tests.
  24. On a newer car you should have to disable the VATS system, unless you want to have your key in the ignition.
