Any laptops that I should stay away from? Brands or whatnot, I'm not much of a computer person so any advice would be appreciated.

I far from a computer guy, so all I really want to find is something I can use to tune on my car with. Nothing fancy, I don't want to get online with it or use it for anything else. I just need something with a decent battery, a USB port, and a serial port would be nice. Please PM me with what you've got, lets make a deal.

Blue tops are marine batteries, but also a deep cycle design. I have had a red top in my car for some time and its an excellent battery.

There are many reasons i went with an iron block, strength, easier to work with, and lower cost to name a few. I could care less about the 80 pounds I added to the car. To each his own I guess.

Best thing i've seen out of the both of you. Now if the kids and nutswingers would get told to chill most of this pointless bullshit would calm down. While I think there are faults on both sides, the never ending pissing match is getting old and is pointless.

Well hell I don't know much about DSMs and aparently less then I thought. My bad. I'm not rolling in cash either trust me, there has been a shit ton of penny pinching at my house for the last 7 months.

Well we could put an LS1 in it, you may just end up going through the one in the car. I'm not sure I want to work on a DSM, I only shop at Home Depot for the house. j/k
