  1. Already on it http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/4295504528.html
  2. Those rims are really......... purple. Nice bike though
  3. I already have a healthy bike, so it's nothing pressing. Just got the urge to get something with a little more up to date technology and 3k isn't a bad finance option to get together rather quickly. If I get turned down, then I still have the fireblade to ride whenever until I can get the extra 3k to put into a newer bike.
  4. Problem was in the past, I had a bike repossessed when I got laid off from work for an extended period of time. I paid off the balance after they auctioned the bike once I got back on my feet, but it's really affected my score. I paid off 20k vehicle loan as well, but that didn't seem to do much to help improve my credit. I'll contact a credit union, see how that works for me.
  5. So here's the deal - I want to buy a 2005 or newer ZX10r I called JandJ today because I found a bike I liked (http://www.jandjcycle.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=04618189X1K20K2014J8I37I51JAMQ1503R0&veh=58611&pov=3511152) Wouldn't budge on price and said I would need to put $500 deposit just to run credit to see about financing. He says the $500 also puts bike as sold. I'll be completely honest, my credit isn't the best, so sometimes I have an issue with financing so financing is kind of an important thing to have ironed out BEFORE agreeing to purchase the bike. Is this normal bike financing practice? Anyone have any recommendations? I want to pay about 6k (or less) out the door for the bike, with 3k down and 3k financed. I'm sure there's a few lending institutions that will finance because of the 50%+ down payment. Any help or leads to a place that would accommodate me would greatly be appreciated.
  6. Nothing special. On a rear stand plugged into a battery tender. Full tank with stabil storage. Since this picture, I've placed a piece of cardboard under the front tire to prevent staining the garage floor. Every week or so I will rotate the front tire to prevent flat spotting the tire.

  9. I've always been a huge fan of this... 05' R1 --- Really a big fan of this and the 06 R1 versions... This one is on CL right now for 5k... Just might have to offload my current bike and pick this one up.
  10. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2014/01/17/22339152-family-of-ohio-killer-executed-with-untested-drug-mix-plans-to-file-lawsuit?lite Apparently this didn't go too well... Gasped for air for about 19 minutes and now the family is filing a lawsuit. Article does say specifically they aren't seeking monetary gains.
  11. I'd also like to see if maybe Alan (QuikAccord) would be able to print some OR stickers and maybe sell em to people at the event, also get some t-shirts going like last year.
  12. Update: I'll try to keep updating this as we continue to gather more leads/sweeps Leads: Sweeps: Whaler Bad324 Lead or Sweep: Hutch
  13. Your family owns the business - just switch working to Sunday the week of the Epic Ride... You can ride down with us... I assure you, last year was a blast. (even with all the little issues that people are bringing up)
  14. I remember passing you spaghetti through a straight as we passed a mini-cooper that decided he wanted to show how big his penis was and try to turn the road into a race track and wouldn't let me get in behind you, but I only passed you for my safety, and then signaled for you to pass me... You didn't seem to mad, glad I didn't get 'spaghetti'ed.
  15. And this is an ATGATT event as all OR events usually are!
  16. Yes, I knew there was issues with the fast group and I know Inya's Epic Ride was cut drastically short because of a pretty bad crash in the fast group. The groups of 10 were good, but there definitely more than 10 in the medium groups because there were so many riders that wanted to fall in that group but not enough leads/sweeps, so we will need to try and increase the numbers of leads/sweeps for the medium paced groups and can condense if less people are needed. I'm sure a lot of the leads and sweeps that aren't needed would not have an issue bumping into a faster paced group anyway.
  17. If you don't mind me asking, what happened at another ride that causes you to be this way?
  18. Good plans - voted, but my vote is primarily just my preference, I'm really open to any season.
  19. You've also had insurance for some time... bike insurance drops dramatically after the first year I believe. Stats suggest that most accidents happen on a sportsbike in the first year (for obvious reasons, learning, lack of self control, etc.) I'm not anyway an insurance guy, but I believe this to be true, but could be very wrong.
  20. Well, I guess the first step would to be come up with a date for it... We should try and avoid the IB and Deal's Gap dates. Probably 'try' and avoid close race days as well. Edit: These dates are Deal's Gap - June 5-8 Mt Rushmore IB: June 12-17 Mid-Ohio Superbike is July 20. I'm not a track guy, so some of those guys can input those dates. I'm thinking June 21, 28, or July 12 might be possible dates.
