  1. Clearly, the objective is to have fun. More confusing? If you can't figure out a sign in a parking lot and following a decent guideline of how long your gas stops should be, maybe elementary school is more of a fit for those riders.
  2. Agreed about the fuel stop spot was way to early, but it did have some advantages... It gave the leader and group a safe spot to assess the ability of each rider and allow them to switch to be a better fit. Also could allow a person riding outside of their level a quick place to switch groups... I do agree that maybe a stop about 75% of the way would be beneficial as well... Already had plans of outlining the shopping mall to have the groups already laid out so when you arrive you can park your bike in the designated group for easier organization. As far as maps and stuff, well, I could do that, wouldn't be difficult, but even with a map in front of them, still won't assure you won't go the right way hah... I rode this exact route last weekend and even with communication telling me to turn, I still missed it, hah.
  3. Can you PM me a price. I'm interested.
  4. I've updated the OP to include the Meet place and Route: Logan shopping mall lot on 664 hocking mall shopping center latitude. 39.54528°, longitude. -82.43083° Route will be same as last year. GPS Route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2446521?privacy_code=8nkCrv4WqyEYWhiH Mapquest Version: http://www.mapquest.com/?version=1.0&hk=10-TrIK6TgV Also added B-Mac as a lead if needed - We still need more leads/sweeps to be ready for the event.
  5. Whaler is really good also with carbs as well. He's in medina so I'd recommend bringing it down to his garage and letting him help you. Just PM him your information (he posted earlier in this thread). I'll also be glad to stop over and bring some beer or something
  6. Just a friendly reminder - Only 11 more days to get t-shirt requests and money paid for those who already requested it and haven't paid.
  7. Got out for about 400 miles. Did the NE route down to Logan and then the epic ride route to check it out. All in decent to good shape.
  8. I believe last year we ran 83 to Coshocton, then 541 to 79, 79 -> 16, Brownsville Rd which turns to 668, then 93 to Logan. http://tinyurl.com/n5bebaz https://www.google.com/maps/dir/40.9945324,-81.9962843/40.2752171,-81.8762106/40.257297,-82.0283855/40.2725806,-82.1162504/40.0620831,-82.3861854/40.0680442,-82.292351/39.9476347,-82.2577923/39.9424033,-82.2561186/39.6747291,-82.300183/39.5453064,-82.4313926/@40.4420307,-82.1431153,8z/am=t/data=!3m1!4b1!4m12!4m11!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!1m0!3e0
  9. Nah man, like I said, I am putting close to 500 miles on Saturday and I know thats going to eat my body up on the ZX10. Good guess, I'm 28.
  10. Might be interested - Supposed to put close to 500 on Saturday running the entire Epic Ride route with a couple buddies to check the timing and streets of the route. If my body isn't ate up from it, I'll be happy to come out Sunday (providing we don't get storms)
  11. Details Here
  12. Yes it is. I'll see you there. Like I said in the OP, we plan on doing the exact route from Akron to Logan, then doing the route this weekend, so we should have a good idea on time frame of when we will be leaving the 71 BP that day after this weekend. I'm thinking right at 7am.
  13. Updated the post. - Car pulled out in front of bike. RIP Christopher W. Mitchell II
  14. As more posts for other areas start arising, I figured it would be a good time to get this thread going. Meet Places: Time Meet at 7am, Kickstands up no later than 7:15am. - BP at 71 & 83 --- 10134 Avon Lake Rd Burbank, OH 44214 Coordinates: 40.996158, -81.996600 Time TBD: Coshocton - Marathon Gas station off 83. The Lodi and Millersburg routes will probably be pickup spots without a real stop. So if you are meeting at those locations, be ready around the time so when we come by, you can just jump in the group without having us stop. Coshocton stop will be a full stop for fuel and leg stretch, coffee, breakfast, etc. A few of my buddies and I plan to do this ride this weekend to get a good idea on time and run the route to make sure the roads are all good and nothing surprising has changed from last year. Jim, do you mind leading the group down again, if you are attending? Post if you are planning on joining the meetup to ride down together to the Logan meetup spot. 15. Good maiden voyage for the year. Nice meeting you John (jd724 I think) - Rob, fun as always. God this winter sucked and I'm glad it's almost over.
  16. Sorry I couldn't make it out... work was a little later than I anticipated... Didn't even get a chance to get out of the bike, but definitely plan to get it in tomorrow. Hope you guys had a good ride.
  17. Updated for received Payments: Shadyone, Tall_tracy, and Haha FZR
  18. Yea I got a new number and a new phone. Lost your number... I'll send you a PM with my new number so you can send me a text and we can arrange something.
  19. I might be in for this Crazy, I work until about 5, but if you are still riding after and the weather is still going strong, I can maybe meet you somewhere for a little ride. New bike and new tires, so I will take it easy for sure though.
