  1. Holy hell. I looked up posterior chain and related exercises. That's going to be a challenge at first.
  2. It doesn't sound like paranoia to me. Maturity and sense more like it. Separately, Dad told me to keep a bag of marbles on the bike for tailgaters.
  3. Yeah, I've got a Katana which has nearly identical ergos stock to stock. It's still hurting me though. I'd buy your VFR but you want more than I'm looking to spend. I'd love to talk shop about the bike sometime though, most of the mods you listed looked like stuff I would want to do to mine. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I need something to strengthen my wrists and forearms, they still kill me on the bike. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Yep. This is me not trolling. Sooo not trolling right now. Post-whoring maybe, but not trolling. (And how by the spaghetti monster's great noodley appendage I want too!) Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  6. On the cheap side Asus makes a "memo" tablet in the $150 range that is a lower spec version of the original nexus 7 (they make both units) but is quality construction. I have yet to be pleased with any off-brand android tablet. Crap battery or crap screen or crap app support or all three. Spend the money and get a memo or a tab or a nexus. At $230 the new nexus is a steal. And I love my nexus 7, though 16gb is NOT enough. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  7. If your ever around on one of the big group rides I have to give that thing a listen. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  8. I really hope it works out for you but LIon cells explode very violently upon impact, producing 100's of times their volume in deadly and flammable gases. (I worked on a fire suppression system for a factory that makes large LIon cells). Just so you know what your getting into. It's not like a tank of gasoline above a hot engine is no hazard either. 9. Thanks again man, went for a short ride down 13 tonight and I really like it. It fits me like a glove. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  10. With the right tools the soldering can be done. Check out some YouTube videos. The expense of a quality soldering iron is a problem, and you also have to be quick (really good) as heat will damage the memory cells in the chip. Beyond that, I'm not familiar exactly how, but those type of flash cards do wear leveling, rotating data through the different memory cells at the hardware level. It may require all of the IC's being transplanted to an undamaged sd card. And microcenter is flavor of the month with their cards, so getting an exact match there could be problematic too. Sorry to be so pessimistic, but you've got a mountain to climb. Professional data recovery services would have a lot more tools at their disposal if you can't live without it. GoPro sells tethers for the cameras too. Good luck.! Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  11. +1 It was nice getting to meet everyone and ride. I was worried about the rain; I'm so glad I didn't bail. I'll post a link to some video when it's done converting. Nothing spectacular, I'm still getting the hang of the camera. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  12. I wondered if it got pushed back from 9. Reading comprehension FTW! Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Don't know if I'm early or late but I'm in danville. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I'll be there around 9:30am. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
  15. It sounded nice but I didn't bother to take it for a test ride. Wasn't in love with the looks and it was a bit unbearable where it met my manly bits. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Hmm. I hadn't thought of running a gear higher than normal. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  17. I thought that clip was a security lock to keep the clip from opening up. Anyways, I'm going to add some foam. I saw a video of a kid that foamed the heck out of his and it made a huge difference. But I also want to add a remote mic to mine. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Kat's are supposed to be reliable, comfortable, cheap, and quick. With moderate expectations in all areas. Mines OK, I neither love it nor hate it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I stopped in to look at a triumph. I was working north of there that day and stopped in on my drive home. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I like Iron Pony because: 1) It's five minutes from my office, 2) The ladies are a riot, 3) They have an interesting selection of used and new bikes, 4) They can get me OEM parts. All I have to do is call up the parts desk with the part # off of the suzuki 'fich. They have my credit card, they know the bike. I've called them everyday for a week and added parts to the order. Derek's always patient while I pussy foot around what I actually want. Yeah, there prices aren't the cheapest. (Cough mobil 4 T cough). But they're never any more than the competition at the most expensive. They charge MSRP. Go figure. I've spent a few grand in their store on gear and accessories. Gotten some deals too. 21. I'd take a bag phone. They used to get almost 30 miles out of them. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  22. I thought there was a zx9 on here for $2700. Seemed like a deal to me. If I was after a bike right now I'd have to check it out. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  23. Normally I'd be down for some sprinkles, but I slid my rear tire out on an on-ramp yesterday. I didn't go down, I recovered smoothly but that was luck. Scared me good. My 8 year old Dunlops don't behave like the new Sport Demons did on my Ninjette. I'll be watching the weather. What's the plan if it turns nasty while we're out? Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  24. I wonder if the AMA is going to release a statement. I do have to feel sorry for the squid's family, but as I understand the facts the squid made many avoidable and illegal decisions that put him in that situation. If we are all going to make the decision to increase our "risks" pursuing an intangible reward, that's our choice. And if we're going to choose to do so together, then good on us to have found like minded fellows. But I'll be plain - if I see any one of us do something that is going to endanger someone outside of our group who hasn't made that choice I'm going to call them on it. I hope all of you would do the same for me if I step out of line. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  25. What I saw said 20% until early evening when it hits 40% 60% all day is different matter. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
