  1. I posted this when I originally joined that I would only be in Ohio for a short time. That time has ended and I am heading back to Mississippi. If any of you ever make it down there let me know and I'll take to you out to some of our best spots. I only rode with a few of you but it was a great time. I'll still check in on the forums.
  2. that is them actually
  3. Thanks for the info guys. The blue is just what color the projectors are when I don't have my headlights on. No strobing, flashing, blinking or anything else so I should be good. thanks!
  4. What's the law in ohio about riding with blue light on your bike? I got some new headlights that have the "demon eye" which glows blue when the projectors are not on. Is it illegal to ride around with a solid blue light on (not strobing or flashing)? thanks
  5. Make sure to recheck the bike before the trip back. Check lights, tire pressure (and wear), brakes and make sure you got all the bags hooked properly. Do a self check... wallet, watch, keys, etc. All the same tips as before stop and stretch, drink lots and have fun.
  6. Do not wear a backpack if at all possible. 7 hours of that thing pulling on your shoulders will really hurt. I rode from Mississippi to Ohio last riding season, I hated that damn backpack. I would also say instead of focusing on getting there immediately make sure you look around and enjoy your ride. It will go much faster if you're having fun.
  7. Great ride guys, nice to meet some new people. jbot, let me know when you open up your school. I'll sign up.
  8. I am about 15 min away from 151 if you want to text/call me when you get close I'll ride out and meet everyone. nautical I am going to PM you my cell number.
  9. If you post up a route I might be in. I have tomorrow off work and am looking for a ride.
  10. If you haven't watched it check out the series Long Way Round. Awesome trip around the world on motorcycles.
  11. It's definately not a twisty adventure (south of TN anyway) but the roads are very well maintained and low traffic. Lots of amazing places to stop and take pictures, read up on history or just relax.
  12. I'm signed, this could be the trip of a lifetime!
  13. I love mine. I have an 09. If you check out (if you haven't already) 600rr.net. Lots of awesome mods for these bikes. Some of my personal favorites Moty Design LED Gauge mod w/gear indicator. BKMoto HID retrofit (angel eyes & demon eye & Audi style LED strips) Tripage makes a great integrated tail light (so does TST Industries, they also make an undertail) And TST is also coming out with some awesome halo led flushmounts for the front. I'm sure you already know about most of it, but enjoy the bike.
  14. I have to find another way, I just took the fairings off of mine and washed them in the sink, then wiped the rest of it down with a rag and some wax. Took a really long time and still not how I would like it.
  15. I loved the trace when I was living down there. I used to camp out there most weekends during the spring/summer.
