Hi guys, this is Dave. the guy on the Red Ninja 650R from Michigan! Doc wasnt your fault, nor anyones. We all can "What If . . . " all we want but in the end sany' was the one Riding his bike! I just met Sany yesterday morning @ 6:20am. Never rode with him before. Greycat and I have rode together many many times and weh facing unknown roads/riders, we always ride in the back. Sometimes as the LAST 2 ppl. We've seen several crashes on our local Michigan rides and even with puting new riders in the back and have someone in front of the new rider, to act as a Guide (riding at a slow pace and so the new rider can Follow his lines) they crash! I know how ya feel, Mike and I felt the same way! we hope he will be ok! Now I wanna send a Thank you to Jerry and Link for showing us around after the crash! I just wish I DIDNT have to work the next morning, or else we(I) wouldve spent the night at a hotel and spend most of Sunday Exploring more Ohio roads! I rode a total of 633.2 miles yesterday! And, when I woke up this morning and even as I sit now... I'm not sore or beat. I for SURE wanna try this again this season, maybe make it a 2 day event. Ride safe, Ride on guys!!!

No, and as from what I heard, DSB broke up afew years ago. Maybe some of them still hang and ride together, but I have no knowledge.

But from the looks it was just bad luck it happened.." Well Doc, Greycat and I had a Awesome time!!! You cant always prevent a rider crashing no matter what you try to do in terms of Safety. So many variables when Riding, that simply put, things happen sometimes! I hope the riders that went down are Ok and wish ya'll a speedy recovery man! We choose to ride the Slow-Slow group and stuck with it! We are both capable of Riding Faster, but wanted to have a fun and Safe ride. For multi-reasons. 1) We both DIDNT know the roads at all. Didnt know what to expect around each corner, what, when is the next one. 2) We both rode 300-350 miles Down just to make it to the meeting spot. No Trailering our bikes down, so no way of "getting home" if we crashed! 3) We consider ourselves as "Touring Riders". So we just wanted a nice easy going cruise to enjoy some Real twisties whilst checking out the Ohio scenery! * Though... a Yamaha R1 ISNT a touring bike, nor is my 650 Ninja! We are talking with our fellow Redlinesuperbike members and Michigan Riders about coming down again this Season, at some point before the riding season for 2013 is over... Ride Safe, Ride Tomorrow! Hi, I was riding in this past weekend's Epic Ohio Ride, May 4th 2013. I was riding 2UP with my GF on back! My name is Dave. I live in Michigan. I've been riding for several years. I currently ride a Red 2009 Ninja 650ST. You guys have AWESOME ROADS compared to Michigan! GREYCAT and I will be back for Next Years EPIC OHIO RIDE 2014!!! We might be able to make it down again one more time this riding season, cant promise anything, but we'll have to see... Wear your Gear, it will Save your Life!!! (it did for my buddy Joe)
